Run! Don't walk away from this office!!!! Over 15 years there, (waaaaay too long) putting up with their lack of empathy, care and overall understanding of patients. It starts from the office staff all the way to the Dr.Long after COVID they are still trying to just provide Telehealth care. $20 co pay for a 5 minute facetime call. I had to ask to have an in person visit for physical where I was met with condesending conversation and medical terms being thrown around, they send you off with scripts to make other appts. Forget trying to get them to work with the a dr's office they REFERRED you too. I have spent my own time to get a simple task of medical records sent so that I can make an appt that THEY said I needed.I voiced my concerns and frustrations to which I was met with well maybe your are just not 'vibing' with the Dr. anymore.Nope, and taking my health care and needs elsewhere.Good riddance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Depends on your condition
I went to her years ago as a general practitioner. During that time I was in a car accident and had several popped discs and a fracture at S1. Her manner changed immediately to the point where I was called litigious. When I went there to get my pre surgery checkup, she said I’m getting the surgery I wanted. Her lack of empathy and lack of professionalism by attacking me was unwarranted and shocking. Not sure who wants three surgeries both lumbar and cervical.

Such a caring doctor!
I have been going to Dr. Divan for many years. Several of my family members go to her as well. She is an amazing doctor! Even after hours, she is very responsive with any medical calls/questions that I have. It is not common to hear back from a doctor after hours so quickly with other doctors I have been to. Dr. Divan always patiently listens to my medical concerns whether it's in the office or over the phone as well. Her office did a great job throughout COVID as well with both telemed visits and in-person visits when possible. I would highly recommend going to her if you're looking for a family doctor!

Horrible
Double booked my appointment and then insisted I called and cancelled when I showed up for it. She rarely sees you during the visit and leaves much of the work to the office staff. She adds little value when she does and does not know basic nutritional information

Great office and doctor. Every single person in her office is smart, caring and helpful. Wish I had found this office sooner. I have many complicated medical problems, but her and her staff take care of every detail for me. Very beautiful and clean office. Never have to wait, they do not over-book like most offices. If you can get a chance to get into this practice, take it!!

I started seeing Dr. Divan when she opened her own practice in Amherst. I loved her. She was knowledgeable, caring, understanding, and wanted to get to the bottom of any health issues. Dr. Divan was the reason that my thyroid issue was finally resolved, after I had talked to a previous PCP about 13 years before I started seeing Dr. Divan. She did not say, "It's your hormones." (Of course, thyroid is a hormone.) She said, "You have a serious problem." Obviously, she listened to me, paid attention to the issue so that the cause was found and remedied. We left the Western New York area in 2012, and I still miss her. I am happy to see that most of her patients find her a great doctor.

Her staff is very rude. I took my wife to see the doctor on sick visit. My wife needed to be seen for an acute skin condition in areas which we would have wanted to be seen privately. We arrived at appointed time and two staff members came out rudely saying we need to go to car and do Facetime from car and that doctor will call to do Facetime from there. We did not want her body areas to be on face time especially from car park. The doctor did not call until 20 minutes. We are fully vaccinated and were wearing masks. One of the staff member rudely said they have COVID patients coming to them. There was not a single patient in the office at the time.

I was only in the room five minutes before Nita was telling me how terrible I am for not having my colonoscopy and mammogram even though we’ve been dealing with Covid for over a year and a half, even at one point telling me I needed a psychiatrist and meds, she’s a bully she’s rude and insulting, I will not be back.

Love Dr. Divan and her staff. Always feel I'm getting the best attention to my needs there. She has been really great about being the "quarterback" among all the other specialists that I have had to see. She has all the info from the other doctors and coordinates my care like a pro. Best doctor I've had all my life.

I just moved to the area and did not have a PCP and had a serious medical condition. Dr. Divan took me in very quickly. I already had to call her after hours a couple of times. She called me right away both times and also got me in the office the next day both times. Her main goals are to help patients and make them feel better. I am so grateful for everything she has done for me to manage my pain and letting me live a happy life. She is one of the few people deserving of being called “doctor”.

Misread a simple liver function number on a chart which forced me to make huge lifestyle changes. Then when I informed them of the mistake they made they tried explaining that their system graphs the numbers in a way that made my liver function worse. This is unacceptable. A number is a number. If you cant read a liver function number properly, why should I trust you with my health?

I have a number of medical issues that weren't being sufficiently addressed by other doctors. I went to Dr. Divan based on a friend's recommendation and I couldn't be more pleased. Dr. Divan was thorough, extremely attentive and she figured out what was wrong with me when other doctors had not. She is very intelligent and compassionate. The office staff is also very pleasant.

Erroneous Billing Practices with out notification of a bill due while incurring interest over 2 years. Account receivable team is deplorable and will neglected to notify you of a balance due in order to charge the maximum amount of interest possible. They will not mail an invoice or call about a balance due nor inform you in person while you are in the office. The account receivable department works on Tuesday and Thursday only and I have been waiting 2 weeks for a return call to no avail.
