Dr. Nitesh Vachhani, MD

The ONLY reason I ended up using this practice is because I was assigned to Dr. Vachhani during a stay at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital for pancreatitis. I saw Dr. Vachhani just once during my week-long stay, but I saw his NP every day. In looking over my hospital records, post-release, I found that he was “supervising” her, even though he didn’t visit me, and that they were “discussing my case”, even though he wasn’t seeing me. Once I was released from the hospital, I was told to make a follow-up appointment with Dr. Vachhani’s practice, Texas Digestive Disease Consultants. I made an appointment at the Sugar Land location, as it is closer to my home. Imagine my surprise when I arrived at their tiny office, squeezed into their tiny waiting room, and was called for an appointment with the NP (not Dr. Vachhani). Given that I was 1.5 weeks post-hospital stay, I fully expected (and made) an appointment with Dr. Vachhani. You can see my full review on Google.

My visit was timely and he asked me important questions and I liked his friendliness and the time to let me know just what was to be done next. The staff was very good at getting all the information they needed and very informative and patient with me. I was impressed .

Dr. Vachhani takes time to listen to my symptoms and asks appropriate questions that lead to a plan of improvement. He even responded to my phone call when I had a question about the medication he suggested.

Dr. Vachhani didn’t rush the visit even though I was over 1/2 hour late for the appointment. He explained things clearly and gave me confidence that he is the doctor that I will continue to use in the future.

I have been a patient of Dr. Vachhani for some time now. I could not ask for more from Dr. Vachhani and his staff. Professional, courteous, caring, and they want to meet your medical needs. What I like the most is the doctor takes his time in explaining your needs, options, and definitely encourages to ask questions, so that he may give you answers as needed. Always takes time to answer my questions and explains my test results so I fully understand what's going on. He never rushes me out. Excellent wait time for visits too. His staff is nice also.

Dr. Vachhani was excellent. He was easy to talk to; he listened and looked at me when addressing me or listening to what I had to say. He was very knowledgeable. He took the time to review a copy of my medical records that I had brought with me. He was informative and gave me the sense that he really cared about providing me with excellent medical care and advice. I have had contact with other doctors in the Methodist system and he is by the best I have encountered. I wish I could clone him and make him my primary care physician.
