Misdiagnosed
Dr. Taki actually had a pleasant bedside manner and was attentive post op. He did a Septorhinoplasty on me and other procedures. I was extremely satisfied with those procedures, but they did not fix the problem. When i continued to complain, Dr. Taki recommended a book to me and suggested I was 'psychosomatic.' He diagnosed me with TMJ. I actually stopped going to him for the follow ups I was supposed to go to. The real problem was just found: CVID: Common Variable Immunodeficiency. When I was referred to him it was for 'eustachian tube dysfunction.' Not only did I truly need antibiotics, I need IVIG. I do not have TMJ as he diagnosed me with, though it is on my record forever. In fact, I had my wisdom teeth removed due to infection. I would hope that all ENT providers would familiarize themselves with chronic infection and immunodeficiency.?

Said I was fine, ignored my symptoms
Dr. Taki was very brief. In spite of the symptoms I reported, he didn't even look in my nose. He told me I was fine and didn't offer any further help, other than basic home care I was already doing. I am still suffering with my symptoms and looking for an appointment with another ENT. I would not recommend him.
