Exceptional
I came to Dr Chinitz with a severely fractured and dislocated ankle. His care and competence was excellent, both professionally and personally. I knew what to anticipate after surgery and rehab. I am now walking without any assistance at all.I would highly recommend him!

Barely looked at my ankle before saying it was a bad sprain, said I didn’t need mri, turns out I fractured my leg after getting a mri from another doctor.

Dr. Chinitz is the best! He has cared for my family for many years. He treated my daughter's fifth metatarsal fracture. He has treated my ankle tendonitis as well as metatarsalgia. Dr. Chinitz's office staff is highly prompt and professional. He always makes time for his patients and is extremely thorough. We are grateful to know him.

I had a very extensive Achilles reconstruction with Dr. Chinitz and he was an excellent surgeon and very attentive. He’s a little socially awkward but honestly, once you build a rapport with him, it’s fine. He’s a straight shooter and maybe doesn’t have the greatest bedside manner… very blunt. But he’s a good doctor, an excellent surgeon and that’s the most important thing.

Ripped me off. Was at his office for a visit with my son and I mentioned I have a slight elbow pain. He took a look, no X-rays nothing complicated - didn’t tell me I’d be billed for an office visit. Offered a brace, I took it - after asking what it might cost, and they told me oh, not much. Well the bill was $644!! I looked up the brace at the retail site - the exact one costs about $65. Wow. If $644 is “not much” to them, that’s obnoxious.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the excellent care I received from Dr. Noah Chinitz. Not only is he a brilliant and skilled doctor, he treated my injuries (and me) with the utmost compassion and humanity. His entire staff is highly professional, efficient and lovely, from the PAs, nurses, radiologists down to the reception desk. It’s with great enthusiasm that I recommend Dr. Noah Chinitz.

Had an absolutely horrible experience with this doctor. First of all, he ordered x-rays that the technician didn’t even know how to complete. Then, he ordered another pair of x-rays because he didn’t understand what the technicians even did and had the audacity to ask me what they did. So then I had two sets of x-rays and when we finally looked at the results, he had no clue what was even wrong and so that I possibly had a tumor (when I sprained my ankle). Horrible doctor. Please avoid at all costs.

Worst doctor visit ever. He showed no people skills or respect for patients. I asked him a simple question of why if the problem was in my shoulder I feel pain in the back of my arm and he responded: “because it does”. Extremely unprofessional and this was one of his many snarky answers to my questions.

Had some foot pain. Met with him for 5 minutes. Follow up visit 30 days later. Again, at most 5 minutes. He suggests surgery. No way. The pain has subsided over time. I have other things more important to address than rushing into a surgery based on his limited consultation. His manner was not pleasant. I felt no confidence that he was looking out for my well being.

My doc called requesting an appt for me for a Fri. I called the office twice to find out time of appt. but no one called. Someone in Chinitz's office made appt on a Fri, but NO ONE CALLED ME with the time. They did call, but it was after he went home. The lady kept saying she prepared the room for me. I gave him another chance & made an appt for Wed. I wanted to see him earlier & tried emailing him on Mon. He called me on Tues., didn't refer to my email. Dr & staff are TERRIBLE AT COMMUNICATING

He's great. Listened to concerns that a different surgeon wanted to fuse my foot together and really reviewed MRI and X-rays and knew what he needed to do. He repaired peroneal tendon tears and performed surgery for plantar fasciitis. Surgery was 3/1/16 and 5 months later I'm clear to do whatever I want. Great staff at WestMed locations!!! Highly recommend
