He Doesn't Care
Our 7 year old was hallucinating and had a fever and severe headache. I explained this is not like my son who is very active and has a high pain tolerance. I explained all the symptoms, which were symptoms typical of encephalitis triggered by the West Nile virus. Dr. Sugarmen told my son to follow his finger and stated that since my son's neck didn't hurt, it couldn't be anything serious. Sent us out the door without testing nor providing any explanation. He called 2 days later to say he just realized that he did not do any lab work. By this time our son was already going to a follow up. Dr. Sugarmen said to go back to Tarzana ER if the doctor requested labwork. Never ever would I like to go back. The symptoms worsened and eventually he ended up in another ER (he was sent there by a pediatrician) and he did have lab tests. It was West Nile virus all along.Oh and in his notes this awful 'doctor' wrote that our son had a, 'mild headache'. Mild?!Worst experience with Noah Sugarmen!

He gave my husband the worst possible treatment
My husband saw Dr. Sugarman on March 4, 2024 with excruciating back pain at the ER in Tarzana Hospital. Husband was given a pain shot, a pain patch, a pain pill, a dose of morphine, another dose of morphine and was told he had to have me pick him up by car even though he could not sit up without terrible pain. So I did.Two days later Husband was taken by ambulance to a different hospital where tests were taken, 4000 pictures were taken of his back, and it was determined that he needed a complete spine reconstruction. At least four discs were herniated and there is a pinched nerve. On March 13, at 3 a.m., Husband had an emergency bowel resection and the back surgery had to be postponed. So Husband was told Dr. Sugarman was eager to get to the birthday party, as were all the nurses and workers on the floor. SO NO TESTS WERE TAKEN OF HUSBAND!!! Not one!Now I want to know what kind of emergency room treatment was this for a 79 year old man with excruciating pain! The worst! No tests!
