Dr. Noble Mycle, MD

I had my first experience with Dr. Mycle about a year ago with my mom. She was a life long smoker and hated doctors because their answer was always to stop smoking. She was admitted to the hospital in Danville with a UTI when she met Dr. Mycle. He was very kind and caring. He told her to stop smoking too, but he didn't act like we were wasting his time. He explained everything so well that even my 88 year old mom understood what was going on.Few months later we were back in the hospital with COPD. He took care of us again and remembered mom. I was surprised how much time he took to show us a normal CT and how hers was different. Dr. Mycle treated it like a disease without judgement. Although we didn't know it at the time, he saw that mom didn't have a lot of time left. He told us to start thinking about hospice and set up palliative care when we left the hospital. 3 months later, mom died because of COPD. Thanks to Dr. Mycle, mom, I and the whole family was prepared for it.
