A doctor who listens to the patient
I went to see Dr. Walsh for the first time today and she is absolutely fabulous. Yes, I waited a few minutes to see her, but she was so thorough and took lots of time to explain things and ask me questions to make sure I understood everything, that a few minutes wait was not a problem. I would rather wait and know when my turn came I would be listened to and have my questions answered. Thank you, Dr. Walsh,

Disappointed
I have just been released from hospital & I am pretty sick. I contacted Dr Walsh office to say I'm still waiting on home health, I'm overwhelmed, etc.. I wish I meant something to my PCP. She has not reached out since I have called. I really needed that from her. She supposed to be my advocate. This has been a life changing event. I feel like I was discharged with no follow up. Still trying to call to get someone help with my referral. Not supposed be this alone when I've been a patient over 2years.

Dr. Walsh is the best provider I have ever known to be genuinely caring for her patients. She is thorough and does not limit her resources to what the insurance company caps; she goes out of her way to consult with other providers she knows to get information and/or advice about certain medical situations. She is a rarity among physicians who actually spend quality time with her patients and is very personable. I would recommend her to everyone.

Always current on medical issues. Listens and open to discussion about treatment. Takes all the time you need during an appointment, but you will wait for your turn. Office is minimalist, but ok. Staff friendly and willing to help. Dr. Walsh has personal connections to many great specialists, and frequently makes the referral by phone while you are there.
