Great manner
I've been going to Dr Risinger since 2015. He is south austin and I am far north but because of the time he takes and his courteous and honest he provides it is worth the almost 29 mile drive! He has seen me through a triple bypass and other concerns always with a positive and upbeat attitude. One of the easiest doctors to discuss health issues I've ever! I've told my spouse, even if we should relocate I would return to Dr Risinger for my six month appointments!

Dr. Risinger is everything I desire in a doctor. He carefully listens, is not rushed, explains in a clear manner test results and future conditions that might occur, and has the greatest bedside manner. I've used his office for various conditions--venous insufficiency scans, sleep apnea, high blood pressure., and possibly other aging problems. He really goes to bat for his patients and does his best to solve their complaints. I'm lucky to have this cardiologist in my life.

Annual check up. Also recommended updated carotid sonogram. I’ve been a patient of Dr Risinger for at least 14 years. I cannot imagine seeing another cardiologist. He never acts like he’s in a hurry but has all the time you need. Answers any and all questions. Very calm and caring demeanor.

My wife and I had previously been patients of Dr. Carlson. We were notified by the Hospital that Dr. Carlson was no longer with the Hospital and therefore we would have other Cardiologist to see if we could become there patient. We picked Dr. Risinger and he took us as patients.

I don't understand this survey...this past week I was at Dr. R.'s office, but it wasn't his time to see me; one of his PAs saw me...Oh well, I will answer as it pertains to Dr Risinger and the past time he saw me. (This will be the same as my first survey for you...as you might know, I think Dr. R. is great as a doctor and as a person. He saved my husband's life with his diagnosis, and has kept George in the best health he can for my man, who is 89. He's doing the best he can for me, too...a 75 year old female, who is overweight, and struggling to can control of it...)

I had a follow up appointment recently and I found my experience to be even better than the first. Considering the extra steps everyone goes through as a result of the COVID19 check-in/patient protocol, everyone from check-in to check-out was awesome! Physician assistant and Dr. Risinger were equally as awesome. Thank you for making this a great experience!

I live in South Austin and the location is very convenient. They have always been great about setting up appointments. Dr. Risinger is very easy to talk to. He has explained my health conditions to me in great detail and in lay-mans language so I understood what was wrong and needed to be done. When I needed a specialist he set it up for me and I was happy with the results.

Dr. Risinger is my favorite doctor. He is very professional yet extremely personable. He listens very attenatively to your concerns & addresses them in a very confident & reassuring manner. He spends adequate time discussing issues & treatment while not being rushed. Discussing issues with him is like talking to your best friend who is a doctor. I would not hesitate in referring him & his staff to any of my friends & family.
