I called as a new a patient to get an appointment to see Dr. Torres the person at the appointment desk was extremely rude and as I was trying to explain what I needed she cut me off saying well if have had surgery in the past we will need to get your CT Scans, MRI's etc. and a recommendation from another Doctor first before I can do anything else. I understand these things that would be required but what I don't understand is the complete and extreme dismissal I received from his staff.

Dr. Torres is an amazing surgeon. When I first saw him it was an emergency situation in the hospital and I was unable to walk. After an MRI and evaluation, he took me into surgery and removed a portion of a ruptured disc (between L4 and L5) and when I woke up from surgery I was pain free for the first time in over 3 months. He did in just a few hours what 4 other doctors didn't/couldn't do over a several month period. Dr. Torres gave me back my quality of life and I am forever grateful to him.

I had a large meningioma brain tumor and Dr Torres successfully removed it. He did all necessary tests before the surgery to ensure that side effects would be minimal and that he would be able to safely remove it. He was very easy to reach when I needed to speak to him and schedule follow ups. Dr Torres truly saved my life and I couldn't thank him enough.

Before Dr.Torres, I had spent over a year in extreme pain, barely able to sit or walk.Even laying down was a challenge.I saw several doctors, was misdiagnosed, etc. It was hell. Then I found Dr. Torres. From the beginning,he was up front & honest (with a great sense of humor) & offered me the best of care.He FINALLY gave me a correct diagnosis of 4-5 herniated discs,3 of which where completely cutting off my spinal canal & the other 2 were almost there. Thanks to him I got my life back @ 25 yrs old!

Before seeing Dr. Torres I didn't have adequate quality of life because I couldn't walk well do to a pinch nerve in my right leg. I was back and forth from a cane to a wheelchair depending on the level of pain. My pain was so bad that I ended up in the emergency room a few times and given on of the strongest pain meds anyone could tolerate. After seeing Dr. Torres and his wife/ and Assistant Miss Joy. After my procedure my life changed dramatically. I can finally walk without assistance or aids.
