Dr. Nsehniitooh Mbah, MD

My mom was seen due to immense pain in the ER. We experienced the opposite of what all of these reviews stated. His bedside manner was so gentle and kind. Dr. Mbah was so patient and took time to listen and explain how he could help my mom. He ordered extra tests to calm my nerves as a concerned daughter. He ruled out other potential serious issues and gave us helpful information to my mom's condition. He made my mom feel seen, heard, and most importantly, helped her pain and find a solution.

I went to the ER with chest pain and nausea. As soon as he walked in the room he accused me of wasting his time coming to the ER with heartburn! He had his mind made up before entering my room. It was New Year’s Eve, my spouse and I had gone to dinner and dancing. I wasn’t able to eat or dance because of feeling so bad. I had a history of heartburn from 25 years ago which was fixed with surgery back then. But in the last 2 years I was diagnosed with heart failure. He never physically examined me. He still insisted it was heart burn. I left and didn’t find out until I was reading mychart when I got home that my blood pressure was 185/90 which is considered a stroke risk. In the four hours I was at the ER they took my blood pressure once and never disclosed to me how high it was. In the days after that my heart tests ordered by my primary care have been positive for worsening heart failure.

This doctor is condescending, and lacks empathy. He assumed I had an illness in the past which I never had. He neglected to figure out what was wrong with me that night. He didn’t care and it showed. I had to ask him to please look at something because he wasn’t listening to me. Then he acted like a bratty 8 year old kid who doesn’t want to do it by partially putting in the effort to look me over then said you’re fine, this is fine! His way of communicating made you feel like you’re wasting his time and he would dismiss your issues. His main goal was to get me out of his office asap.
