Not a positive doctor
She gave my husband a 20% chance of survival and insisted there were no clinical trials in the US. She was insistent that MD Anderson would do the same treatment as locally. Once she signed the release and he got to Houston we found out there was a clinical trial and they gave him a 45% survival. 5 years later he has a 95% chance of survival. I'm afraid I'd we had stayed with her as the attending physician my husband would not be alive.

Demeanor is poor, poor communication skills, poor listening skills. She has made a few people I know, feel very insignificant.

Dr. DeJoubner saw my dad when he was dx with advanced acute lymphoma. He died 2 days after dx. He was in excruciating pain the last 2 hours of his life and when he died we stopped the code b/c we knew he was out of pain now and his body was full of cancer. Dr. DeJoubner had the audacity to call us at home the next morning and ask if we were "comfortable" having stopped the code b/c she could have treated him. Unprofessional Heartless Pathetic. She will blame a wife and daughter to save her hide

I highly recommend Dr Dejoubner. I've never felt like just another number, but like a real person with a physician who really cares. She is kind, compassionate and thorough. She listens to my concerns patiently and I never feel she is in a rush to get to her next appointment. As a cancer patient I am grateful I found such a wonderful Oncologist...

I have been seen Dr DeJoubner for two years, she has always explained my condition and treatment options, I find her to be very knowledgeable, confident, and friendly. I leave our visits feeling reassured that the best possible treatment for my condition is been done.

I found Dr. Dejoubner to be very impersonal. She did not seem legitimately concerned about the reason for my appointment. She made remarks about my health that I felt to be very abrasive and rude to some degree. Very poor bed side manor!
