Dr. Obosa Osawe, MD

Man it’s been years since I had my last child and I still have trauma from this doctor. She was truly terrible but back then I didn’t know how to speak up for myself, and I didn’t know what it meant to be cared for as a patient. She was truly one of the worst things to happen to me during my pregnancies. I went to her for two pregnancies because as an ASD person and someone with anxiety, I felt like I needed to stick with the same doctor because I was used to the treatment. I don’t know what I was thinking and I wish I could go back. She completely took the fun out of both pregnancies and she was just such a disingenuous, terrible person. I feel sad to think of others being treated the way I was and I feel bad for that version of myself for allowing it. This woman does not have a spot of empathy in her body. She did not try to develop any kind of relationship for such an intimate experience. It was a cold & transactional situation. she didn’t know how to be tolerable of GAD. dismissive

Dr. Osawe is the absolute BEST. She is not only great with bedside manners and her knowledge within her discipline, but she genuinely takes the time to educate me on my care and answer all my questions in a manner that is understandable. I found a true gem with this physician.

I am so glad to read this doctor left health quest practice. I had a bad experience with her. During my first appointment, she spent only five minutes with me. Did not bother to want to know my history. I was experiencing heavy bleeding and PMS, I was also trying to conceive but she was quick to recommend I go on the pill. I did not trust her, she is a poor listener with a big ego. Wherever she is, I wish her well. I hope she reads reviews

I had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Osawe. I have to wonder if the folks giving bad reviews are referring to the same doctor or if they could be referring to a different doctor with the same name? I don’t know. But I am trying to find her to go see her wherever she is now. She listened to me when I went in with pain, ordered tests & now I know what the source of the pain is.

These reviews are crazy. I loved Dr. Osawe and was crushed to hear she left this practice. She was so funny and warm during the birth of my son, she is always thorough when I have gone in with problems, and the only issue I ever had with her was when she was (in my opinion) being overly cautious and wanted to hospitalize me on New Years Eve for an ovarian torsion that had occurred and self corrected. I wanted to switch to her for my regular care and am so bummed she’s gone.

Dr. Osawe was my physician for a year and was excellent. I did not experience any of the complaints I read about. In fact she worried me because my visit was always over 20 minutes. I do hope if this was her behavior in the past she has reflected on it and has changed. She is dedicated and very intelligent. Dr. Osawe just left my group and now I am looking to see where she is now so I can return back to her. I trust her, and I need that with cancer running after me.

Best doc ever! She's a great communicator, very professional. I highly recommend her!

As others have said, she doesn't listen to her patients. I'm sure if your problem is basic she does just fine. Ask her to spend time diagnosing more complicated issues and she will just say it's because you're fat. I went to another gynecologist who took the time to diagnose and help me. Glad I didn't just take her opinion as the truth.

The doctor does not listen to her patients. She is very dishonest spends little time caring, and does not regard family history as important.

Doctor osawe lies to her patients. If she makes a mistake she covers up by lying. Very dishonest.

She has a horrible bedside manner and is more worried about what is for lunch than the patient she is operating on laying on the table in front of her. She is argumentative with her patients and spends no time listening. She is unkind to the nursing staff working with her. She shows no remorse for botching a surgery and putting her patient in a fatal situation. Don't see her unless you enjoy being talked down to and argued with.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Osawe. It was my first time visiting the gyn and she was very straightforward and answered any questions I had with no judgements. I never felt uncomfortable and i think that is very important. I recommended her to all my friends.

Dr Osawe answered all my questions. It was a good exam. Not for nothing but I've read some comments that other patients have posted and I have never had a problem at my appointments. I ask her my questions and she answers them. She has other patients I don't expect her to spend unnecessary time with me. As lng as she does my exam and answers my questions what more do you need.

Horrible presence.. Not friendly..Rough handed, no manners

Dr. Osawe had a terrible disposition, never greeted me when she entered the examining room, was quite rough with her procedure and exited the room in the same manner as she entered. The only way I knew she was not returning is the time on the clock. I personally would never revisit this rude Dr. again, nor would I suggest her to anyone else, unless you have crocodile skin.
