Unsatisfied
Started out being good experience. As time went on I began to feel like a cash cow. Unnecessary treatments. I was so disatisfied with quality of care & refusal to meet my critical healthcare treatments i Reported to Medicare and insurance.

Failure to do there job
I have had nothing but problems from her office. Either she really doesn’t care about the patients or the people who work there do not know how to do there jobs correctly. It should not take over six months for them to put in a request for specialist or to reorder prescriptions. She should either close her doors or find people who will do there jobs. If a patient has to babysit them to get to do the jobs than this is an internal problem. A doctor only has its reputation to go off of and if the people under you can’t do there jobs than it makes you look bad as a doctor

She did her job okay, but not very communicative
When I visited Dr. Mbakwe, I always left feeling confused or unsatisfied in some way after my appointments. We had a lot of communication issues and I ended up not trusting her decisions as much. In her waiting room was a sign saying she didn't prescribe pain meds and despite my main complaint being pain, she barely ever addressed it despite how much it was impacting my life, not even to tell me she wasn't comfortable or couldn't help me. Another time, I was having issues with my blood counts and she kept recommending infusions but never elaborated why, just that my case was "severe". She tested me for celiac disease but would only say it was "a gut disease" and didn't even mention wheat or gluten. The staff were nice enough, but the nurse would do intake with their back turned because of the layout and the exam room had bright fluorescent lights and gray walls, which didn't feel very welcoming. In the end, we did get my blood count back to normal, at least.
