Excellent Physician
Dr. Nwoko was very knowledgeable about why I was there for my initial visit with him. He listened intently to my issue. He explained everything he was planning to do very clearly, and his technique was superb. He gave me verbal & printed post- procedure instructions. I was very pleased to have been referred to him for my care.

Staff
My husband had surgery with this provider. He himself was great, but his staff is another story. After being unable to rest and in considerable pain for hours after surgery, my husband was screamed at and hung up on trying to seek help to be able to rest. The nursing staff refused to listen and before hanging up on his said she listens to this every day. I suggest finding a different doctor whose staff matches their level of professionalism and empathy.

Great care!
I have had to have 3 surgeries after breaking my wrist over the past summer. Dr. Nwoko is very professional and his assistant is absolutely amazing. He has been very accommodating in regards to my care. I would recommend him to anyone I know.

broke my wrist. It was fixed very fast, healed fast. Did not even need the pain meds. Nwoko himself called after I left the surgical center as the staff discharged me even before he could come talk with me. I was back to work in less than 2 weeks. No infection, no residual pain. The only draw back is the wait time

Did a replacement on my shoulder over 4 yrs. ago. Still cannot lift arm higher than even w/my shoulder. Does not spend time explaining anything. If I never see him again I will consider my self lucky. His P.A. is a special person.

Dr. Nwoko repaired my mom's broken hip with a metal plate, and pin. She was 97 years old at the time. She recovered nicely and is walking again, with a walker. No infections, and healed well with physical therapy. Dr. Nwoko was very kind, attentive and reassuring that her hip was repaired and now stronger than her other hip. I would highly recommend him for any orthopedic surgery. He was especially considerate and has a comforting, confident approach dealing with patients and the family.

Dr. Nwoko and Wake Ortho are top notch practice. He is very thorough and will try conservative approach before doing surgery. My 13 year old broke his elbow in 4th grade and has had issues ever since. We went to see Dr. Nwoko last summer and after trying every non surgical option surgery was only option. My son had surgery today and Nwoko was very good at explaining to us what he did and what the plan was during his recovery. Highly recommend him. We also love his medical assistant Jamie.

Besides being great eye candy, he was patient with his patients. I'm a nurse who is very particular about my kids as well as any parent but he took the time to show me step by step. I was initially worried because I requested another but I'm glad we were set up with him. In the end he gave directions to both my daughter and I. Made sure we were clear about the next few weeks of care and even called to check on her after her emergency surgery. All I can say is GO Dr. Nwoko! #WakeOrthoRocks #GoDoc
