Dr. Miller is friendly and is very knowledgeable.
I like Dr. Miller because she is knowledgeable and seems to be truthful in providing answers to patient's questions about their health. She will find the right specialist to help in matters beyond her scope.

Refused to refill medication.
I felt that I was judged as soon as she walked in. I had decided before the visit was done that I wouldn't return to her for my care. Having transferred from another doctor, I ended up needing my meds refilled. She did tell most of them but changed one from name brand to the generic form without asking me. I need a refill on my hormone cream, she's refusing because it's not what she recommends. I've been on this for five years and you're refusing to refill it? Shame on you!

Not helpful AT all; Not attentive AT all.
I saw Dr. Miller one time; in the fall of 2020. I had some major concerns with regards to symptoms I had been experiencing for almost a year. I went in with a list so that I could point out the correlations between my symptoms and make sure I didn't miss anything. Without examination she stated I was depressed and did I want anti-depressants? When I stated no I was concerned about my confusion, inability to lift my arm & constant dizziness she advised me to look up intermittent fasting on the internet to lose weight. I left and was left to my own devices and investigation to figure out what was the matter. I had to have surgery on my neck 4 months later. In reading through the positive reviews; maybe I caught her on a "bad day"----- but I have to believe that maybe this is not necessarily her calling, as she seems to not have the compassion or listening skills one usually seeks in a doctor.

Trusting your Physician
When a patient is at their very worst, is when they most hope, that their primary care physician will be at their very best. Dr. Miller failed me in this regard. Instead of showing compassion and a better understanding of the physical and emotional pain that I was enduring from a recent serious injury, and the great state of mental confusion that I was experiencing from the 25mg daily dosage of oxy-codone that she had recently prescribed; Dr. Miller felt it appropriate to discharge me WITHOUT CONSULTATION, 2 days prior to my next scheduled appointment, during the Pandemic, when it was nearly impossible to find another health care provider that was accepting new patients. Instead of communication, Dr. Miller has chosen silence. Instead of courtesy she has treated me with the greatest disrespect one human can show another, by treating me like I no longer exist after a four year relationship. It will be difficult to forgive her for the emotional pain that she causes by her silence.

She does not have a clue when it comes to anything other than very basic care. She makes rash diagnoses with minimal information and causes anxiety and fear that is completely unwarranted.

Dr. Miller is wonderful. She listens to me and answers my questions. She reviews my record to make sure I didn’t forget to ask her something. We discuss new issues and go over options. If needed I get referrals.

She was more concerned about filling out DNR form. I am a competent woman and have gone through an extreme emotional year. Losing my husband of 45 years has not been easy. A couple of questions I did ask was answered with "that's not part of this well check and you will be billed extra. The second time she looked at her watch I gave up on wanting her to at least listen to my heart and lungs. She did at least refer me to a dermatologist which is a 6 week wait time.

This visit was not satisfactory and we will not be returning. Dr. Miller was very difficult to understand through her mask. The assistant told us that we should get there 15 minutes early so everything would not get blocked up. We actually got there 14 minutes early and it took quite a bit of time to do all of the new patient information. When the assistance was going through the current medications, she mentioned one that I did not recognize, so she decided to delete it rather than see if it had any other names. Nobody asked us if we had been vaccinated for Covid. It just did not seem like this was a visit that would lead to a long term relationship as a primary care provider.

I have seen Dr. Miller twice and do not plan to see her again. I met her when she was my father's physician. She was very pleasant, thorough, and attentive to his concerns. However, when I saw her, she was a totally different provider. She was short with me when I told her that her follow up instructions were not clear. She did not notice my 30 pound weight loss, nor my high blood pressure. She did comment on the fact that it had taken me six months to follow up, but did not ask me if there was anything going on that kept me from following up sooner. I was more than a little surprised that she did not ask how I had been doing during the pandemic. I told her I suspected that I had carpal tunnel syndrome in my left hand; that my symptoms were unbearable; and asked to see a specialist. She agreed to the referral, however, two weeks later when I had not received a call and I called to inquire, it was obvious that I had fallen through the cracks. I deserve better care.

Dr. Miller's Reply –
We are so happy to read such a great review!

Dr Oksana Miller is an outstanding personal physician. One of the best I've had in 4-5 decades. Thorough in her analysis and assessment of our condition, it really helps as both my spouse and I are of advanced years (read, old). Her attention to detail and knowledge of proper medications and expected outcomes have been great for us. Diagnosis has been spot on and her suggestions for dosing and selection of mediations have improved our quality of life. Any medical establishment that comes in contact with her should support her any way they can. Hope there are more Dr. Millers out there for a larger pool of folks to benefit from.
