Dr. Olga Tchikindas, MD

First off, she is determined to diagnose you as bipolar. She corners you into it. For example, Her: “Do you have mood swings?” Me: “No.” Her: “You don’t have mood swings??!! But everyone has mood swings!” Me: “I guess then, sometimes” Her whole line of questioning is like that. I’m not bipolar, i was trying to get help for anxiety. She also made me feel very uncomfortable, for example, i think i was looking around or something because i was bored while she was writing stuff down (she writes longhand she doesn’t type), and she was like “why are you looking around, is that a ritual?” Um, no, i am just sitting here feeling awkward! The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

Just awful bedside manner. Very expensive, not a terribly good doctor to work with for Suxone RX’s. All can simply find way better!

Dr.Tchikindas is a wonderful physician. She is kind, cares for her patients, great listener, answers all questions, very knowledgeable and professional.

If it wasn't for Dr. Tchikdas, I wouldn't know where I would be. She is understanding of my problems and gives me methods to improve my mental health. Dr.T is the best, I give her the 5 star rating because I continue to improve. And she really does care. She has gone out of her way to help me..

This physician is the most professional and caring Doctor I have ever been lucky enough to see. She is fantastic!

Dr. Tchikindas lacks empathy, makes eccentric analogies to mental illness, and has terrible bedside manner. She isn't supportive or uplifting. I left every encounter with her feeling depressed.

After our first visit, I felt very comfortable and trusted this Drs decision. She was very thorough in explaining pros and cons of the medication recommended. She interviewed me extensively before offering her opinion on diagnosis and treatment. I did not feel rushed and she answered all questions. i did not find this Dr to be a drug pusher and I do believe she would provide therapy talks as well and not just write prescription. Wait time; none.

Wonderful doctor! Very caring and always available in an emergency. She takes her time with her patients and is very knowledgeable.

Horrible - acted like a robot. Asked me the same questions - each appointment - for over 2 years. Typed my response to each question into the computer and that was it. Does not believe in disability so if you are on disability do not got to her. After seeing her for over two years she could not pick me out of a line up even if her life depended on it.
