Unprofessional and questionable
It's been years since I took my kids to this doctor. When he first opened, he seemed amazing, but as time went on his office rules were BS for a pediatrician office. No STROLLERS?! And he was so mean to his staff. He seemed always angry about something of other and it was traumatic to watch him scold them. I also feel there was som lack of accountability for an expeinxe I had with him with of my children and that was the straw that broke the camels back for me to continue seeing this doctor. One year his office didn't renew something in order to provide vaccines to their patients! It was such an inconvenience. His wife was very kind and good dentist and I loved that both the dentist and pediatrician office were together. But he was just too unprofessional and seemed lacking in compassion or humility to continue going here. It would not be in the best interest for my children.

I took my child to Dr. Adetona for about two years, since she was an infant. Things were fine, but wait times were always about 1.5-2 hours. One day he was out when my child was sick and his staff told me to take her to urgent care, which I did. That doctor prescribed antibiotics. When I did a follow-up exam with Dr. Adetona, he became very angry I didn't go to his physician of choice (though his staff never mentioned this person) and mad that my child was taking antibiotics. He acted territorial over her and also like he didn't even want to treat her anymore. I felt he was chastising and belittling. The last straw was when I was trying to get a simple lab result back, called several times and went in person, and his staff refused to provide it to me, stating I needed an appointment even though the doctor said he would tell me the result over the phone. I'm very glad we left that doctor and instead found a kind, considerate doctor who values the parents and is never rude or belittling.

On Thursday August 15, 2019 my son’s refill of Advair was denied. I’ve called Dr. Adetona’s office to clarify and fix the issue. It hasn’t help. My son is up to date on all his asthma checkups. As of August 24th, Dr Adetona still hasn’t sent his authorization for the prescription. My son has missed three doses of his Advair as of now. He struggles with his asthma often. I am incredibly concerned about my son’s health and the office couldn’t even give me an exact date of when the refill will occur.

The doctor is unprofessional, yells at his staff in front of patients. His front desk clerk was incompetent. He could never truly diagnose a problem. The absolute worse Pediatrician. We found a superb one and are very happy with the move.

Dr. Adetona is rude and staff is incompetent. Took over 6 moths to get a referral to GI for my special needs child. Staff takes forever to fill out title 19 paperwork. Dr. Adetona refuses to refill prescriptions as medications are available over the counter yet our insurance covers I?t. Had an er visit for an issue with G Tube and he refused to refer to surgeon per discharge paperwork stating he needed to see my daughter first. Never get called back and wait times are HORRIBLE.

I gave this doctor and his practice chances to redeem themselves, today was the last draw. I had been taking my kids to him since my 1st child was 2 months and my 2nd child since she was born. 3 years. the 1st year he was a great doctor only bad part was he treated his employees like dirt. Ever since he got big in the business and opened the urgent care he started treated his patients parents and employees with coldness and rudeness. He started acting superior holier than thou and just nasty.

Below 1 star he is so rude and acts better than everyone. He acts like only what he says matters. He interrupts you when you try to speak about anything concerning your child's health and what your concern is. If there is something else you need to know he'll tell you he isn't going to answer your questions and that you need to schedule a new appointment for a different issue. He is just awful!! I could go on and on unfortunately. Definitely doesn't act like a Christian like he claims.

We receive honest, ethical, and gentle service from every member of the team every time we enter the practice. They take the time and care necessary to help my daughter and us feel comfortable, to answer all of our questions, and anticipate our needs. We are so grateful to have one place for checkups, dental, and urgent care-- and feel so safe knowing that we can get this level of care from a reliable, friendly place when we need it most.

I am 50 years old and have three kids and up to this day I have never experienced visiting a pediatricians office where the doctor will not give his patient a referral to a specialist. You are just a pediatrician you are not a specialist therefore you should not deny your patients a referral to see a specialist for something that is out of your league. If a parent requests a referral because the parent is concerned about something or wants a second opinion you should honor that request.

Dr Adetona was my daughter's Dr for 5 yrs. When his practice opened he used to tell me to call him before going to the er. Over the yrs I've seen many staff leave and watched as the personal care got less and less. They now say go to er, make an evisit and they don't even immunize Medicaid patients anymore. I tried to make an appt for a well check where I would also talk to the Dr about my concerns. Ms. Liz would not allow me to make an appt for my daughter. Very poor care overall.

I have been with Dr. Adetona since 2013, after the birth of my first daughter. I can say that I love the natural approach, and that I am respected as a mother because he listens to EVERYTHING I have to say as I also listen to him and his professional opinions and explanations. My oldest has always been a little afraid of him, but my second baby loves him, and he has a wonderful bedside manner when we have been in the hospital. He also respects my decision to not vaccinate, a big deal to me.

During vitals, Mr Adetona passed by and rudely told me I had to get rid of the stroller due to a hazard to his office. When he walked away, I told the girl I'm always at Dr's offices and this was a first. He came back and rudely told me Not to talk back to him, told him I was not talking to him, then he got even more upset at the girl helping me and told her the same! She put her head down and said YesSir. All in front of my children! His attitude & actions DO NOT define his faith in God.

Dr.A is a fantastic pediatrician! He has been my daughter's doctor since she was born. He came to see her each day we were in the hospital. She is now one and he takes time to talk and play with her each time we need to go in. He is genuine and it is obvious he loves his patients.

His office refused to release my daughter's medical records until a $30 bill was paid. Which was a result of him lying on her medical records and saying she was sick on her visit. A visit in which he never even examined her on. She just received a shot which is supposed to be covered under preventative care. He never even saw her that day. We asked him to change it and his office refused. So they lied on the medical records.

This Dr. was my son's primary physician until I had to change the type of medical plan we had unvoluntarily. Since my card did not have the physician's name on it, I was not able to make it to my son's 2 month checkup, which by the way was notified hours before this needed to be adjusted, which I honestly don't see a big deal about the card having the physician's name on it to be seen, if the insurance is accepted, what is the big deal? I was told I could not see Dr. for another 2 months. RUDE!

Worst doctor ever. At first he was nice, then I realized it was just to get another patient because once we were in I noticed how poor his service was. If your child is sick, he'll send you off to an ER. His receptionists are rude, the doc is awkward. My son was afraid of him. I don't recommend.
