Ignores patient concerns and patronizing
I have Lupus so I am no stranger to doctors and tests. I came to him only because I couldn't get in to see my doc with chronic cough (3 mon) sudden weight loss and debilitating fatigue. I had an xray that confirmed bibasilar atelectasis. After seeing two NPs, two rounds of Antibiotics, steroids, two different inhaler an nebulizer I felt no better. I had to tell my story to his nurse, a student NP, and then him. He ignored the cough and told me the xray was clear, that it was asthma. Then he ordered a CT for my pelvis and abdomen! After finally getting through to my doctor, she ordered bloodwork and a chest CT. When she asked him why he didn't order one he said, her lungs and xray were clear. Bibasilar atelectasis is common and doesn't warrant a CT. If he would have taken the time to read even part of my history or listen to me he would have ordered what I repeatedly asked for, bloodwork and a chest CT. Oh and btw, I told him he wouldn't find anything in the pelvic CT. And it was clear

Unprofessional. Negligent. Refused treatment.
Tried to tell me he didn't believe that I had a medical condition that I have 15 years of documented proof of. Refused treatment of medical concerns I had. Laughed at me about symptoms of medications he prescribed me and then refused to further treat me for the condition. Insisted I schedule an appointment for any medical management concerns and to use MyChart to communicate.
