I had a stroke inside my eye and was very concerned. My eye doctor referred me to Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat. Dr. Punjabi did a complete check on both my eyes and explained everything very clearly about what had happened and what I needed to do to keep my eyes healthy. Highly recommend both him and his staff.

Simple words cannot express my gratitude. After a very strange and sudden vision issue in my left eye, Dr. Punjabi saved my sight. It was an emergency appoint that brought me in on a Monday morning (making room for me because he instantly knew the seriousness of my issue) and would have preformed the emergency surgery right then if he could have found an operating room. Next morning at 5:30 we are in surgery, and a great outcome from a very skilled surgeon with fantastic communication skills.

Dr. Punjabi is the most knowledgeable, caring and competent surgeon. He performed retina detachment surgery on my husband, Charles Spennicchia, and saved his vision. He is an asset to CEENTA and we highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of this type of surgery. You do not find many doctors like him who care so much about their patients. Thank you for all you did for us! May God Bless You!

I am so thankful for Dr. Punjabi's experience! I noticed the gray veil in one of my eyes but made an appointment with my eye doctor who confirmed my fear that I did have a retinal detachment. I had surgery the following week and Dr. Punjabi is the most caring, knowledgeable doctor I've ever met. The hospital staff assured me that he was the best, and that says a LOT. His kind demeanor and brilliance in knowing how to solve the issue is something all in the medical field should strive to do.

Dr. Punjabi is very personable and had the expertise I needed to do immediate laser surgery to repair a torn retina. He was able to work in the laser surgery right away on my first visit. A week later I received a good report after he thoroughly checked my eyes making sure the laser surgery was effective. I'm encouraged that my vision will continue to improve and look forward to a follow up visit in one month.

About 15 months ago I suffered a terrible injury to my eye from a bungi cord. Dr. Punjabi has been my lead doctor along with an amazing team of doctors at CEENTA. Early on he made a difficult call to do surgery that I credit with saving my vision. Among other repairs, he repaired a huge retinal tear;. It is an awful feeling to blind youself and Dr. Punjabi has treated me with professionalism and compassion. I am very impressed with the communication between specialist within this practice.`

Dr. Punjabi is without a doubt one of the most authentically caring human beings I have encountered, plus he is a brilliant surgeon. The expertise and genuine positive regard with which he handled my detached retina surgery and follow up was outstanding. His concern for the patient is beyond any expectation in this era of medical care being akin to a manufacturing process - get 'em in, get 'em out, charge 'em a lot, next! He is an absolute priceless jewel! My deepest thanks, Dr. Punjabi!!

I have multiple complicated problems with my eyes and see 3 different specialists for different parts of my eyes. Dr. Punjabi cares for the retina problems that I have and explains all the problems and offers solutions available in a very easy to understand manner. I have utmost faith in him, he is brilliant. He will also be realistic and not offer false hope. I am an RN and have been for over 30 years so I have seen it all! He is the best!
