Dr. Orlando Delucia, MD

I was referred to Dr. Delucia by Dr. Chike Chukwumah ' tried' to remove severe scar tissue adhesions, significant amounts of extra skin fistula, defective hernia mesh (2014 - umbilical hernia (defective) 2016 - ventral hernia (defective mesh) 2018 - 10 hr surgery, performed by Dr. Chukwumah. When I walked into his office for the FIRST time, he called my name and as I stood up, ready to ener his office, Dr. DeLucia, disrespectfully @ ME & LOUDLY SAID, 'You need to loose weight!' in front of all patients and staff. I was so upset, disgusted, embarrassed and disappointed that I just turned around and left the office. I WAS REFERRED THERE TO HAVE ALL THE SCAR TISSUE,

Professional, great bed side manner, and answered questions and concerns thoroughly. I'm no longer local, but I'd absolutely travel to see him vs. going to someone else.

Absolutely stunning care provided. Dr. Delucia made sure I was well informed about my surgery well in advance with absolute transparency. He was on time on every visit, and he is an all-around compassionate doctor, and knowing I was in his care was incredibly reassuring.

He is highly educated in this field, skilled at the reconstructive work, and genuinely has been comforting and transparent throughout. I came seeking a second opinion and possible revision on a reduction I had that I felt was done improperly and the prior surgeon wasnt giving me proper answers. This Dr was kind, honest and very transparent. He answered any and all my questions without being harsh or condescending. I am thankful for his honesty and kindness. Its so refreshing to see in healthcare nowadays. He gave me a closure and peace of mind my prior surgeon failed to do. And Im thankful to him for that.

Hands down one of the best surgeons I have ever been to! He is very compassionate and honest honest, and has the patience of a saint when answering every single question you may have. Eases your mind on decisions and helps you through the whole process from beginning to end and even after. Would not choose anyone but him.

His focus is on delivering medically safe healthcare to his patients. He is concerned with preventing any untoward situations/complications arising that may jeopardize a positive patient outcome. He encourages questions and answers honestly. He is gentle but firm, as in my questioning my need to abstain from a specific medication for a longer period of time. His description of my post-op course and follow up instructions were spot on. My panicked phone was answered by the weekend covering surgeon which was followed by a phone call immediately on Monday morning. I am a retired doctorally prepared nurse and Dr. DeLucia is the real deal.

Awesome, he was on time, explain the visit. Did what he had to do best and get me out ontime.

I had a cyst removed on my face, very near my eyes. I had previously had it removed by a different surgeon and it came back. My PCP referred me to Dr. Delucia and I was so so happy she did. He is kind, caring, and takes the time to answer your questions. My incision is still healing, but it is looking better every day.

This amazing man has been there though my cancer journey , such a caring man had surgery today and he has check on me and kept in touch with my husband also bed side manor is impeccable, takes the time to get to know you such a friendly , professional and talented man highly recommend

I have seen Dr. Delucia three times, beginning with a double mastectomy in 2009. He is knowledgeable, very caring and very funny. He is one of the few doctors I've ever been to who actually follow up with his patients after surgery. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat!

Dr Delucia by far is THE BEST in reconstructive surgery! He did my breast reduction surgery Jan 12, 2017, and I am absolutely pleased with the results. In addition to being THE BEST in the business, he most certainl cares about his patients' well being, by following up in good timing and advising how to take care pre and post surgery. Without a doubt I would recommend Dr Delucia for any reconstructive surgery!!

I had breast cancer and had to have a bi-lateral mastectomy. Dr Delucia is very understanding about a womens concerns about reconstruction. He was great about explaining every step of the process. His motto is "My job's not done until you are completely happy with the results." He also has a sense of humor, which I found refreshing and it really helped me relax.
