I was referred here by my regular dentist office to check on a gum bleeding problem which they found during my routine cleaning.The purpose of the visit here was to check on the bleeding and get a treatment plan and estimate $. My regular dentist already sent the detailed report and x-ray of evaluation they did in advance to Dr. Washington's office. During my visit to Dr. Washington's office they again did the SAME dental evaluation (which was done 2 weeks back by my routine dentist) and did not even let me know that my Insurance covers only 2 such evaluations a year. Plus the evaluation did not find any issue other than bleeding in gum below one tooth as originally found by my dentist. Anyway, I walked out of here with surprise $$$ payment and my insurance will not cover bulk of it. The response from them was "it's standard procedure" and "you should be aware of your coverage". Really? without knowing the treatment? Complete waste of time and $$$ :(

Dr Washington was barely interactive before my procedure. After the procedure, I had problems that I went back to see him about. The numbers on the chart shown to me then were different from the numbers previously. He also recommended a cleaning to be done before the healing was complete which rang even more warning bells. I am now trying to get the issues fixed with another doctor. I would not recommend this practice.

Dr. Washington's staff has been terrific. They answered all my questions no matter how ridiculous they seemed. I had 3 wisdom teeth removed and a full LANAP yesterday. I expected to feel terrible but I'm healing up very nicely. I couldn't be happier.

Dr. Washington Jr. was unwilling to admit that he did not know the cause or best solution for my situation. Instead of recommending me to someone else he simply focused the visit on a lesser problem that was not the cause of my appointment. The staff was resistant to disclose information about my own appointment regarding the breakdown of my payment.
