Dr. Otto Goyco, MD

New to the area: visited him first in spring of 2024. Ignored my complaints about shoulder and arm pain: I had surgery for both later the same year.I ran out of blood pressure meds (HCTZ-Olm) and did not realize til Sunday (I prepack them in MTWTFSS boxes for 2 months at a time). I left a message with his office asking for a refill.He called me back, irate that I had disturbed him on a weekend. Said he would send prescription to my pharmacy. I called CVS several times: 4 days later they had still not received anything.I left another message. He returned my call, and rather than explaining he could not refill scripts after 12 months, he accused me of 'dishonesty', and 'skipping an appointment'. When I asked for the date of any missed appointments, he said he didn't have my chart and did not know the date, but that I was being dishonest.This is a bitter, angry med-school graduate masquerading as a physician. The two are not the same.

Very concerned and interested. Not rushed. Professional and knowledgeable.

Dr Goyco is a great physician a good human being. His practice is own by Northside hospital system. No follow up when you call and ask a question. Staff does not return calls. Can not get into see DR GOYCO if you are sick. Can only see PA. DR GOYCO is FOR MANAGING CRONIC PROBLEMS ONLY. IF ACUTELY ILL HAS HAVE TO SEE PA

Best bedside manner ever. Extensive knowledge in his scope of practice. All patients I know appreciate his expertise. I give him my highest recommendation for care.

Dr Goyco is the sweetest doctor!!! He definitely is Humble and kind

Wouldn't know about Dr Goyco as a physician, only saw PA's. Their office staff is not customer oriented, apparently disorganized, don't appear to work for the Doctor but office manager. They asked for same information twice, confused as to reason for appointments, wrong information about appointments, rely too much on technology in some cases and not in others. Avoid people contact when possible, etc. Became very concerned with trusting my health and treatment to them.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Goyco’s for 15 years. He literally saved my life in 2003 when I had pancreatitis. Since then I’ve seen him for everything from sinus infections to him being the one who now treats my thyroid disease. I’ve seen many other doctors and no one compares to Dr. Goyco. I completely trust him with my life.

I'm currently being treated by MD Anderson in Houston. However, was in the greater Atlanta area after first chemotherapy treatment and started to feel flu-like systems. Went to see Dr. Goyco and he immediately recognized a potential neutropenic condition, order the appropriate blood panels to confirm and immediately admitted me to hospital oncology unit for fluids and antibiotics. Recovery was quick thanks to the decisive actions of Dr. Goyco. I highly recommend Dr. Goyco.

I have been seeing him for about 10 years and, in a nut shell, I am simply pleased with the experience and plan to continue to use this clinic in the future.

Incompetent clinic. Otto never sees his patients. His staff will do everything to make impossible to see this so called doctor. However, these people are so quick to get their money and great hunters for your insurance. Be aware and stay away. Remember - no matter what you do, they don't give a damn. Not sure where came from.

Dr. Goyco allowed non-medical personal to prescribe meds under his name.

Dr.Goyco is a very carrying and likeable person .You can just feel the warm hospitality .I have been using Dr.Goyco for about 12 years and I am completely satisfied with him ,I think he takes very good care of me .

I love Dr Goyco but....since Northside took over his practice the experience of getting anything done is impossible. I have now waited 6 months for results of a test. They will not mail any lab results. You must pick up. Getting maintenance prescription renewals is a nightmare. Three weeks I have been attempting to get regular maintenance medications. You cannot order them anyway except via their patient portal which rarely works. You can no longer leave any message for the nurse. etc
