Attentive
I had issues with hemorrhoids and not being able to empty my bowels fully, along with an incredible feeling of abdominal fullness and pain with defecation...but constipation was not the problem. Dr. B performed a rectal exam, ordered an MRI, and did my colonoscopy. I'm still awaiting the results, but find him to be knowledgeable, attentive, efficient, and kind. I have found that his staff is not good at returning phone calls, but respond by next day if you use their UNLV My Chart app.

Dr. Bardakcioglu literally saved my life. After having been diagnosed with stage 3b colon cancer at age 52, my primary care physician referred me to Doctor Bardakcioglu (calling him doctor "B" and telling me doctor "B" is the best colo rectal surgeon in Nevada and possibly on the west coast). After having received care from Doctor Bardakcioglu, I have to agree with my primary care physician. Doctor Bardakcioglu is very capable, caring, and humble (which is surprising given his abilities and renown). I will forever be grateful to Doctor Bardakcioglu for saving and extending my life and for his capable care.

Not just an expert on his field but a great human being. Knowledge, compassion and a warm personality are not a common combination. Memorize his last name as two words (Bardak-cioglu), do not risk loosing his contact info in your phone!

I am so glad I was referred by members of the Crohn`s and Colitis foundation. I have been diagnosed with Crohn`s disease now for almost 10 years and it was really difficult to find a provider with the experience Dr. Bardakcioglu has. Despite some initial scheduling and insurance hiccups I am glad my surgery went so well and I am feeling so much better. Thanks and a big hug from my wife Elizabeth to the UNLV team, you were the best.

Dr. B provided me with a surgical procedure that made my symptoms worse than when I walked in the door. He didn't ask my history or symptoms, he did not conduct any imaging, didn't do a physical exam, and based my surgery on tests conducted >3 years prior. He doesn't care about you as a patient or that he ruins your quality of life. Such a arrogant jerk. In addition, you are never seen at your appointment time. You will wait at least 45 minutes even if you are the first appointment of the day.

Dr Bardakcioglu was referred after my gastro found a colon mass. Dr B. is both approachable, and professional. He successfully removed my carcinoma mass using the newest techniques. Just check out his board certifications and you tube videos. During every appointment and hospital visit, he was both caring and willing to spend as much time as I needed answering my myriad of prepared and impromptu questions.

After over a year of misery and a Dr. with a horrible bedside manner I was lucky enough to find Dr. B, he and his Residents were all amazing and very thorough. They walked me through what to expect after surgery and all the options (including pro's & con's of each) and were able to fully excise my growth!! I feel better than I have in years and will ALWAYS trust Dr. B and his team to look out for my health and wellbeing, thank you sooooooo very much Dr. B and team!!!!

Recommended by family, was immediately scheduled for a screening colonoscopy instead of waiting for months with someone else I was sent to. Pleasant experience at the surgery center.

On 11/5/14,Dr. B removed part of my colon and at Sunrise Hospital. The 4 days there were a total nightmare. The first night I was given the wrong medication and got very sick I asked for help but was told I have to wait till the doctor came the next day. I also had spasms in my calf, I told the Dr. and was ignored. 15 days later on my visit with Dr. B I told him I didn't feel right and he blew me off, 10 hrs later I was rushed to Centennial hospital with blood clots on both lungs, almost died

Of the 6 weeks under his care, I was physically miserable for 4 1/2 weeks and he did nothing to lessen my physical discomfort. His staff at UNLV are undereducated and lack professionalism. I terminated our relationship and advise avoiding this practice.

at first excellent but after treating my spouse for about 2 years unfortunately we made the mistake of trusting dr b and after a fairly routine procedure that are usually successful with proper care from doctor ended up being life changing he died less than 24 hrs after being sent home from 9 days in hosp. and was sent home without being on normal diet or passing b.m which is normally a must in any of these types of surgeries my husband was still sent home

He is my hero! Thanks to Dr. Bardakcioglu (who specializes in robotic colorectal surgery) who just removed a large adenoma as a result of a standard colonoscopy. My recovery has been stellar & results are benign even though it was found in a highly malignant area. I will continue to have him perform ALL future colonoscopies, & will trust his personal & professional expertise always. I was referred to him by my Gastroenterologist as the Chief Colon&Rectal Surgeon@University Nevada School Medicine

I am forever grateful that I found Dr. Bardakcioglu. I was very sick with ulcerative colitis and in need of surgery to remove my diseased colon. Dr. B was very professional and explained everything to prepare me for the coming months. The surgeries were a success and everything went without complications. I would highly recommend Dr. B to anyone needing GI surgery.

I am very grateful of the professional and honest care my wife received who was diagnosed with rectal cancer this year. Dr. Bardakcioglu succesfully removed the cancer in a very long surgery and avoided a colostomy even though several other surgeons were convinced that she would not be able to avoid it. Thank you Dr. B!
