Seeing the x ray. Advice given that was very helpful.

My husband was seeing him about his knee. I was having problems with my thumb & finger. I asked him after my husband appt. Me being a recent patient of his, he did an appointment with me. He evaluated me and asked lots of questions. He is going to schedule test. Not many doctors would have done that. I have had two successful surgeries with Dr. McGonigle, he fixed my clean break clavicle then later removed the hardware. I recommended to many people including my husband.

Dr. McGonigle was so compassionate and had a plan of action for the future. Would highly recommend him.

Great doctor, very nice ,great listener and will answer all your questions and concerns he does not rush with your care surgery was great minimum pain afterwards and during the healing process highly recommended.

The first visit I was in the office for a little over 2 hours which I chalked up as maybe it was due to being a new patient and they wanted X-Rays. But at my MRI follow-up visit and after waiting in waiting room for an hour I asked if there was an issue since I was so far past my appointment time and had not been seen or even called up and was told it was going to be at least another hour because two other people were already waiting upstairs. I was then told that afternoon appointments with him are always like this and if you want to make certain of seeing him on time to schedule appointments for the morning. I requested my labs and reports and will take them elsewhere to have them reviewed. Huge waste of my time here.

He is an amazing surgeon! He is always nice and made my daughter comfortable and gave her excellent care. He answered all her questions and concerns and made her ACL repair as smooth as could be!

Dr McGonigle spends the time needed to see you and answer your questions. After seeing several doctors with my complaints of hip and leg pain, Dr McGonigle found the problem, did surgery and I am now pain free after years of trying to get answers and help from other doctors. He is excellent

The atmosphere and all the doctors and staff are excellent and care about their patients! We love Dr McGonigle

I was treated with kindness and compassion. Dr. McGonigle explained the problem with my knee. He did not push surgery and we tried other treatments first. When I ended up having to have surgery he explained the procedure clearly and answered all of my questions. I would recommend Bluegrass Orthopedics to anyone for orthopedic needs. They are all wonderful.

I went to Dr. McGonigle Friday for my one year follow up I would encourage anyone with knee issues to make an appointment with Bluegrass Orthopaedics! As one of the most caring professionals I have ever seen when he walked in the it was for me like seeing a friend as always he was very professional!! He showed me my xrays checked the incision and advised he likes to check on patients every 5 years or so to check the knee but if I had any problems with either knee to contact them before 5 years like he knew my aversion to Doctors! Thank you Dr. McGonigle!!

Dr. McGonigle was very pleasant. I was recommended to o him from a friend. He understood my pain and figured out the problem. He is the most caring doctor.

Dr. McGonigle explained what he thought the issues were with my injury, andlaid out a treatment plan that I feel comfortable with. I was able to get to see the doctor much faster than I am anticipated.

I was able to see the doctor within two hours of my initial call to make an appointment. Very professional staff and doctor. Explained in detail surgical and non-surgical options. I chose surgery. Was first seen on Friday with surgery scheduled the following Thursday. Amazing service which is very rare in today’s medical society. Extremely pleased!

He ordered an MRI of my pelvis. At my follow up, he led me to believe there was nothing wrong. Led me to believe my MRI was normal, told me there was nothing he could do, and sent me on my way. I continued to be in pain. I reached out to my PCP. My PCP’s office asked me to get copies of my records from Bluegrass Orthopedics, so I did. My MRI report shows small tears in my hamstring tendons. Dr. McGonigle did not inform me of this nor did he tell me what I could do for it. Just waived me off. I would not recommend him.

All care at BGO has been amazing. Dr. Mcgonigle did an outstanding job on my tibial plateau fracture. I had very little pain through the healing event and was stable very quickly. I would be very likely to recommend him and BGOs expertise.

Really seems to care about helping me with pain management and get me on the right track to getting better.

As a nearly 30 year letter carrier my knees are in bad shape. Dr. McGonigle has taken the time to help me navigate the workers comp system. He compassionately listen to you and diagnoses your symptoms. I’ve seen many doctors due losing my wife to cancer. Many aren’t empathetic to the circumstances people deal with. I’ve seen multiple doctors at Bluegrass Orthopaedics and all are top notch. I highly recommend Dr. McGonigle.
