Ridiculous Staff Workers
The doctor was nice and very timely but the staff was a mess. I went in and caught them looking at me, giggling/laughing as if I was some sort of a show. No type of respect. I am a patient and a person who has studied the medical field. In our ethics class this would be a no no. Such a shame.

Would NOT recommend this doctor to my worst enemy! I went to see her as a referral from a close friend. Every time I went I either felt rushed or didn't even get to speak to her. When I was around 7 months pregnant I went in feeling awful. I tried to tell her my symptoms but she brushed me off and said its normal, pregnant woman have a lower immune system. I took it upon myself to go else where and it turned out to be the flu. When I called her to get approval for medication, she seemed shocked. If she would have listened from the beginning she would have known something wasn't right. Please do yourself a favor and go to someone else who actually has time to listen to you and your concerns.

So I started seeing her for fibroids heavy periods and a cyst found on my ovary that she said would just go away on it’s own she just pushed birth control on me my iud fell out just told me to take a pill. Here I am today missing a whole ovary and Fallopian tube because that cyst never went away. Just wish this could of been taken a lot more serious by her. Maybe even could of prevented me from losing my entire ovary btw I’m only 26 :/ could of lost my entire uterus.

She is wonderful. I never felt uncomfortable talking to her. But....2 years in a row I called to make an appointment, left a message on the answering machine and NEVER received a call back. I had to move on. Scared if I ever try to call her for an emergency

She's been my doctor for years. Great at what she does. Listens and is very caring towards her patients. The office is very clean,no long wait, and her staff is great as well. I highly recommend Dr.Shonowo!

You can tell she lost feeling with her job and it’s all about money . But someone in this career needs to understand that not only is one life in her hand it’s two (A baby) . Front desk is unprofessional, She won’t even have the Common courtesy to give you a call and talk to the patient about any situation. She will just refuse your visit until insurance situations are handled, even when everything was explained. So rude . Honestly they should of reviewed the insurance on the first visit , not 7 months later . 2 MONTHS BEFORE THE DUE DATE . WHAT A DOCTOR/STAFF.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shonowo for over 13 years. She is very knowledgeable in her expertise and beyond. I trust her so much that I've recommended many family members and coworkers to her and they love her as much as I do. She makes me feel safe and comfortable, she is nurturing, kind and makes one feel as important as we are. Her team is just as awesome as she is and they always find ways to accommodate me. Dr. Shonowo and her practice are Phenomenal!

Dr. Shonowo and her staff are professional but at the same time they are extremely warm and caring. I feel like I am treated as a friend not just a patient. The wait is minimal and the doctor takes time to answer all of your questions.

Where do I begin, everyone at SAS OBGYN is great. Dr. Shonowo is amazing! She truly takes the time to go over your questions and concerns. She is very professional and knowledgeable. The whole staff, Liz and Angelina are always so helpful. They are welcoming, efficient and always willing to help. I have been coming to this office for many years. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. If you are looking for an OBGYN, I strongly recommend Dr. Shonowo and her beautiful staff. NA- Somerset NJ
