Very direct, but amicable. Dr. Ovakimayan takes postitive action, but in good consutaltion with the you. She takes the time to listen and provide explanation, and importantly answer questions. She is patient with addressing questions that you may have. She seems technically very astute and professionally current. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Doctor
Dr. Oxana is great, compassionate and caring. She takes her time and seems to have answer to any question I have asked her. She makes you very comfortable through the appointment and has a wonderful bedside manner. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a great cardiologist.

Top cardiologist
I am very fortunate to have found her and she is a top doctor as a cardiologist. Even though I am 76 years old I would never go to anyone else. My heart is actually functioning better now that she is treating me.

Dr. Ovakimyan is an excellent cardiologist. She inserted multiple stents to my aging heart. The procedure was fast and painless. Highly recommend her.

Dr. Oxana is great, she did my procedure through my wrist, I was so worried and scared. She took time to calm me down before the procedure, at the end there was no pain at all. She send me home the same day after successful stent. I feel great now, thanks to her!

Very thankful to have a caring doctor that is focused on my concerns and provides answers to my questions. Dr. O is very compassionate and thorough. Her medical staff is also great to work with and demonstrates care for their patients. This is an excellent team.

Receptionist is rude, I watched her refuse a patient because they we 10 minutes late, even though they just moved to a new location. We had to wait 25 minutes for the doctor. My wife requires assistance and the Receptionist did not want to allow me in the waiting room. RWJBH needs to think about the patient. Replace the receptionist and the office manager and get someone who cares about their patient. This is a doctors office, some people require assistance.

Dr. Ovakimayan performed a cardiac catheterization on me yesterday based on a referral that one of my arteries had a blockage. During the procedure she discovered another artery with a more significant blockage (80%). She inserted a stent and the procedure was successful. Dr. Ovakimayan visited me three times during the day while I was in the hospital. She spent considerable time with me and fully explained what was done and necessary post operation procedures. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for excellent care and someone who shows genuine concern about your well being.

Dr.Ovakimyan is a great cardiologist. She is very professional, compassionate and listens very well to patient’s symptoms and concerns. I was refered by my primary care doctor to see Dr.Ovakimyan for my chest pain, she did all the necessary tests and helped me understand what’s the problem and did my cardiac cath and found the blockage. Now I dont have anymore chest pain and I am so happy that she is my doctor. I would recommend her to my family and anyone else that has a heart problem.
