We saw Dr. Oh for evaluation of inguinal hernias for my son. Scheduling the appointment was efficient and check in was smooth. He was extremely kind, empathetic, and took his time explaining the diagnosis. He walked us through the surgical repair in detail, making sure to explain the risks. Appointment did not feel rushed at all. Would recommend him to anyone seeking a kind and competent pediatric surgeon!

Superb experience
My 15yo son needed an emergency appendectomy and we feel so lucky that Dr Oh was on call. Before surgery, he explained everything simply but thoroughly which put us at ease. The surgery went perfectly and Dr Oh made follow up effortless. Our son made a quick and full recovery. The teenager said, “He’s the GOAT!” Thank you, Dr Oh!

Our visit and surgical procedure with Dr. Oh is great. July of 2020 when my son did saw him and of course it was the middle of pandemic everybody is extra cautions about going to the hospital. But he was reassuring and stay in touch with us throughout the whole time. He made is so easy to communicate with him and for that were very thankful.

From the moment we met Dr. Oh, we instantly felt calm. Our 15 month old son needed surgery on both lungs. As parents, we were naturally terrified. Dr Oh somehow managed to put us at ease. He has such a kind, confident, relatable demeanor. He explained the surgery in detail, and answered our (many!) questions with patience. He was available via email and telehealth to answer any additional questions we had. His nurse, Emily, is lovely and also very patient with (frantic) parents. She was also available via email and took the time to check in before and after the surgeries. Dr. Oh’s office manager, Ana, was also very helpful, accommodating (with scheduling), and available to answer more questions. We had a lot of questions! Our son had lobectomies on both lungs, 5 months apart. Dr Oh visited us while in the hospital and removed the chest tube and bandaged our baby. The incision sites are barely visible at this point. He is miracle worker and I can’t recommend him enough. Dr Oh is an abs

Excellent! We have a special needs child who has language difficulties-he made every effort to communicate with her in a way she could understand-so patient and kind. A real "gentle giant". His surgical skills were beyond reproach as well-he repaired my daughters umbilical hernia and it looks great!(this from a former PACU RN). Also must note how very "accessible" Dr. Oh was-on our first appt gave me his e-mail and when I had a question he promptly replied. A wonderful surgeon I would highly recommend!

Dr. Oh is wonderful! Our infant had a hernia and Dr. Oh spent a lot of time with us before the repair to explain what to expect. On the day of the procedure, he was very patient and communicated with us clearly. He had a great bedside manner for both the baby and us! Dr. Oh also kindly made himself available anytime through email and promptly returned messages to answer our questions. We are so grateful to have had Dr. Oh care for our baby.

Dr. Oh was so respectful of our 4-year old child. He always asked if he could check her, he was always very gentle. We also had to email him at follow-up to the surgery, and he was very quick to respond. The Friday appointments and surgery days were very convenient for us coming from out of town, and for weekend recovery after the surgery.
