Dr. Padilla appeared to have studied the information in MyChart before he came into the examination room. He was not only very personable and concerned, but he did an excellent job of explaining all the possible options and their likely effectiveness/outcomes. He had a keen understanding of my personal comorbidities and a great deal of compassion regarding all that I had already been through.

Dr. Padilla is a caring, articulate, and compassionate surgeon. He leaves no detail unturned, and listens to his patients… even his more difficult and stubborn ones, like myself.I was having issues over a weekend, after my mastectomy and tissue expander surgery, that resulted from a major fall two weeks out of surgery. He and his nurse, Vanessa, were following up with me closely after the fall with office visits, phone calls and texts.I started swelling and having pain, and by the next morning it was getting much worse. Instead of being like most doctors and having me go through hours at an ER, and risking me being around others in an ER that could get me sick, he had me come to their office ASAP. He took care of what needed to be done in their procedure room, and was scheduling me for surgery to remove the expander and insert a spacer and antibiotics until my already scheduled other side mastectomy and bilateral DIEEP Flap surgery less than 14 days away.Fast forward a little ove

Loved that he listened to me during my consult and answered all my questions throughly. My appointment didn’t feel rushed. He gave me multiple treatment options and was sure to explain the benefits and negatives of each option. Very caring doctor who is truly invested in the health of his patients.

I saw Dr Padilla for over 5 months, during this time when my Masectomy was performed he could have done reconstructive surgery. No, instead he put in skin spacers. I have had 3 infections in one, and when my insurance changed his Nurse told me via text because of an open hole in my breast to see my new surgeon. The surgeon who had never lifted a scalpel to my skin. Dr.Padilla made false promises, took shortcuts that when I was in the hospital for 6 days he chose to do surgery again, remove the infected one and slide in another. The infectious disease Dr even said this was an issue. Dr Padilla stated that I needed to be quiet and not tell other people in the hospital staff he was doing this. Then in another 6 weeks another infection and I am back at the beginning. He did the operation that was right for him, not the one that was right for the patient. It makes him look busier if he scheduled lots of 3 hour surgeries vs one surgery. One incision. One chance of infection. Do not use
