Dr. Padraic Obma, MD

I owe a debt of gratitude to Dr. Obma (and his team of nurses and staff) for correcting a painful condition in both knees that has bothered me for decades. Knee pain was starting to affect work, and was beginning to severely restrict activities. It was to the point where I could not walk anymore at the end of each day- ibuprofen daily. I sought treatment multiple times over the years, but did not receive a satisfactory answer as to how to treat it (it was a lesser-known hereditary condition carried from adolescence into adulthood). Dr. Obama is a skilled Orthopedic Surgeon. He started with MRIs, explained what was happening so that I understood. He explained the options, the risks, and how to proceed, and what might be expected for recovery. Dr. Obamas solution was simple and minimally invasive (thank you, because it could have gone either way). I am two weeks into a recovery from bi-lateral knee surgery, and already less pain than before. A full recovery is expected.

One of the best doctors I have seen. He listens to everything you have to say. His bedside manner is great. He went through all my images and showed me everything so I could see what was actually going on and what causing the chronic pain. He thoroughly explained everything about the surgery that I needed and the recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Obma.

I’m so happy that I got Dr. Obma’s name from my cousin. We recently moved from the Milwaukee area to Shawano, Wisconsin. I had an orthopedic surgeon in Milwaukee, but wanted to find someone closer. My arthroscopic knee surgery was just three days ago, and I can already tell that having this surgery, and choosing Dr. Obma, were two of the best decisions I’ve made. I like to take king walks, hike and hike, and my knees were limiting my activities. I feel like I have a new lease on life, and can’t wait to get back to the active life I love! Dr Obma did both my knee replacement surgery’s and also helped me and my family tremendously threw a very hard time in our life. I was in a horrible motorcycle accident in Wyoming in 2017 and almost didn’t survive. My wife was told I most likely would not survive but here I am up and walking and talking actually working again. A big part of this was because of Dr Obma not only his excellent orthopedic surgery skills but also his positive personality on how Well I would recover. Thanks Dr Obma for all your support and kindness threw the first part of my journey. I sure wish you could continue to help me with my other orthopedic needs. I am more then willing to travel to Green Bay for your continued help. Thanks once again for everything you have done for us.

I had shoulder and knee done. It was an amazing experience. Dr. Obma and his team are amazing making it a great experience.

Dr. Obma did a Total Knee Replacement on my really messed up left knee. From the operation through my two day stay at OSI, everything went flawless . Very caring and knowledgeable staff. I’m 15 days out now going to PT, and now have no need for walker, cane or crutches and even went for a half mile walk today.. I recommend Dr. Obma and team if you are looking to better your daily life and walk without pain.

He did my 2 rotator cuff surgery's. I recovered quick and have been doing great ever since. He is awesome!

Dr Obma was everything I hoped for in an Orthopedic expert. Two previous Orthopedic doctors suggested knee replacement without even ordering a scan. Dr Obma ordered a scan and found my osteoarthritis was advanced enough to take this major step. He was very thorough and took the time to explain everything in detail. Right now we're trying injections with an exercise program to strengthen my knee. He could have easily rubber stamped the replacement solution but did what was right for me.

Avoid this surgeon at all cost. After causing extensive damage to my clavicle bone during shoulder surgery I have an arm that I can't use and live every day in excruciating burning pain due to extensive nerve damage from the surgery . Check his work history . He has worked for several practices in his career and hasn't been practicing that long .

Great physician! Understanding. Gives good information to make choices. Excellent bedside manner. Staff is professional and caring.

Perfect outcome of a previously repaired shoulder. He was pleasant to deal with every time. Had plenty of time to talk about any issues I was having. As you might understand, doing a repair for a second time I wasn't a happy customer. For the record, he was not the first surgeon. He was the best one for me.

Dr. Obma is very good at answering question, explaining what is going to happen in surgery, very caring for his patients. He understands that you want to get back to doing the things you love (ie gymnastics for me). I had a meniscus knee surgery and an hour after surgery I left, and I was able to slowly walk out to my car. The video conference the day after surgery is really nice because you can talk to Dr Obma with out leaving the comfort of your home!

Dr Obma did an excellent job repairing my knee. His knowledge and experience combined with an ability to talk to me in terms that I can understand make him a top choice for orthopedic care in the Green Bay area!
