Dr. Brainard saved my life. She is not only a stellar gyn, but she is a highly skilled surgeon utilizing the DaVinci robotic surgery system for more than twenty years. Like I said, she saved my life!

Hysterectomy
Dr. Brainard was everything I could have wished when in need of a full hysterectomy. Experience matters. Her skill was evident in the relatively pain-free surgery and the speedy recovery. I feel so fortunate to have been referred to her .

She is a very absent-minded Dr. who provided awful care. When I actually had an appointment with her she was always running late and sped through the visit. I definitely preferred my visits with the NP who actually took time to care and talk about my first pregnancy. Do not choose her to be your OB.

Dr. Brainard was recommended to me by two other MDs (general practitioners). I just had a hysterectomy and was amazed at how well the surgery went. I only needed a single pain pill, and I am recovering well.

I waited in the lobby for an hour before I left. I asked the receptionist three times if the doctor was running late. First time she responded she was not. After that, she reported my paperwork was in the back and was going to be called soon. I work full time and can not afford to take 2 hours off to see a doctor. I would not recommend her or anyone in that office. Making someone wait an hour is unprofessional.

I highly recommend Dr. Brainard. She provided a partial hysterectomy for me, and my pain level was extremely low with a quick recovery time. Immediately following my surgery, an hour afterwards, I did not have any pain sitting up in bed or walking. My visit with her at the Copperstate office was very efficient and professional. I felt well-cared for during and after my surgery at St. Joseph's hospital. I suspect Dr. Brainard is one the best surgeons in the country using the Da Vinci system.

Dr. Brainard is a horrible doctor. She encourages starving yourself to be 100 pounds. She actually said the words, “You should be eating almost nothing, then you can be down to 100 pounds in no time.” I am 5’4’’ and am a dress size 6. I am in no way fat nor do I feel like I need to lose weight. DO NOT go to this doctor unless you wish to be belittled and treated as if you are a fat lazy person.
