Dr. Pamela Emmanuel, MD

Was seen by Dr. Emmanuel and was impressed with her bedside manner and genuine compassion for my case. She took the time to listen to my concerns (and my self-diagnoses!). She clearly has seen a lot of cases in the ER and knows her stuff. Thank you doc for your kindness, calm, and patience — especially when I was stressing out about needles.

This doctor is pure ignorant. I went to the ER with concern of cellulitis spreading to a systemic infection. I had pictures to show her. She blew them off. Told me it sounded viral and wanted to do a flu, covidz review test. I had no symptoms to support the tests. She didn't want to blood work. I spoke with the nurse who had to convince her to blood work. The rsv, flu, covid test didn't even come back positive and frankly should have never even been done. She misdiagnosed me before she even seen me. Absoute ignorance.

I would give her zero stars if I could. When I visited the ER she had no bedside manner whatsoever and did not seem to care about any of the patients. Her exam was a couple of minutes and then she went on her way. She did not seem to have a clue about what she was doing. One of the worst doctors I have ever seen.

I saw this doctor in Beaumont's ED, by far the worst, most unprofessional Dr I have seen. She could not answer questions and once I questioned her on her knowledge, she walked away from a patient while rolling her eyes. I will not be going back to that ED if she is still a resident there.
