Dr. Pamela Meliski, MD

I’ve had 3 surgeries performed by Dr Melinski. She is an excellent surgeon who knows her stuff. I would definitely recommend her. She is throughout.

Dr. Meliski resolved a serious issue that my previous orthopedic surgeon had chosen to downplay for almost a year. I had a serious bone infection from two previous surgeries and she immediately acknowledged my concern and ordered bloodwork and imaging. While waiting for a diagnostic procedure to be scheduled, things worsened quickly and she performed emergency surgery. I am finally on the path to recovery. I am still under her care and cannot recommend her highly enough. Dr. Meliski is very caring and attentive. I have never felt rushed during appointments and she explains all aspects of my situation clearly. She responds quickly outside of office appointments and was very attentive during my hospitalization. She is clearly a highly skilled surgeon, but to find someone with her level of competence who also has an incredible bedside manner is rare. Will I recommend her to others? I already have!

Dr. Meliski showed great skill in performing my ankle surgery and provided excellent professional guidance in the weeks and months of recovery afterwards. Her staff is also very responsive to questions or issues that required extra action from the doctor. Dr. Meliski did an excellent job explaining the details of the injury, the treatment plan, and took extra time for addressing my personal concerns. She is very considerate and respectful of the patient.

She's an artist. It's hard to find a good doctor and even harder to find a good foot doctor and she's excellent. Me? Bad car wreck, broke everything, had alot of surgeons working on me but, Dr. Large and Dr. Meliski were the very best. I came here from out of state just for her expertise.

Dr. Meliski performed multiple procedures on my foot last June. The outcome is wonderful and my pain is completely gone. I found her to be very caring and patient with my questions. She never hurried me or failed to explain things in detail. I would highly recommend her.

I was very pleased with Dr Meliski and her staff after my 1st visit with her yesterday. Everyone was very professional and attentive. Dr Meliski took time with me and I did not feel like she was in a hurry. She explained everything in detail and allowed me to ask questions. I have an upcoming surgery and I feel very confident with my choice of surgeons.

In 2012, I fell & received a tri-mal fracture to my L ankle. My niece saved me from letting the local doctors in Murphy, NC operate on me but, instead, got an emergency appoint. for me with Dr. Pamela Allen. Although it was a long drive, niece whisked me there, Dr. Allen saw me and immediatealy had me admitted to the hospital where she did surgery on my ankle. I am forever grateful to my niece and to Dr. Allen. I walk w/o pain and can move my ankle totally normally. THANK YOU, Dr. Allen!!!

I'm unsure how this woman graduated from any Orthopedic University. She saw me for a chronic pain issue in my right foot, and misdiagnosed it. Then she went a step further by informing me that my only recourse was to take PT regularly. After a month, my pain level was worse after multiple Physical Therapy sessions, and still had no chance of getting to the root of the pain. She isn't cut out for surgery, unless it's on a cadaver.

I suffered an ankle fracture a couple of months ago. Dr. Allen was on call at Mission. She sent in her P.A. (never met w/ me personally) who informed me fracture of was not displaced, OK to weight bear as tolerated. Tried it next day, was very clear I shouldn't be putting any wait on it. So, I went to a different orthopedist, clearly saw displaced fracture, did surgery that week. Said if I had followed Dr. Allen's advice, it would have been dramatically worsened outcome.
