Our family was accused of fabricating information about our medically complex child. Refused testing and appointment specifically recommended by his specialist that we ask his primary do as they could not (I called twice to confirm). Offered condescension and road blocks when support and out of the box thinking needed. Same thing happened when he had Lyme in June. When coordination of care is essential, this group fails families. If you or your family have any complex issues, don't compromise your health, find someone who actually is invested in healing.

I went for a visit and my insurance carrier had changed. I notified them of this in the pre visit phone call and went to my visit and I asked to confirm if they took my new insurance and I was told by reception that they had no idea and I would have to call the number on the card to see if they were a covered provider. It was 5 minutes before my appointment time! I asked if she was serious, there was NO WAY she could ASK someone if they took my insurance carrier? Nope. I was not happy and told them I would have to go call, the reception says, well your appointment is now. So I went to my vehicle and called the number on the card, I was covered. I now went back inside, 5 mins past my appointment time and informed reception I was covered and would like my appointment. Reception replies "Sir you cancelled you appointment" She says you will have to re-schedule. I took time off from work to make it. Unacceptable. Unfortunately I am still looking for a good reputable doctor again. Don't go

She is a great clinician who is not afraid to use her own judgment rather than following prevailing concepts blindly. I respect her and her decisions. Someone above mentioned that she made her to go cold turkey on anti-depressant, and I believe Dr. Moore believed that is the best for the patient.

She's competent enough, overall, but she apparently doesn't believe in Lyme disease. I live in the woods and it's a huge problem considering that we're practically in the center of Lyme disease in CT. She refused to treat my Lyme and blew me off too many times, refusing to even have her staff take a blood sample after I waited half the day in her office--leaving me to become a chronic Lyme patient. One day I just blew up, paid for a complete copy of my records and marched out of her office forever. Should have done it sooner.

Awful Dr. Moore made me go off cold turkey from antidepressants which is dangerous. It caused severe brain fog, forgetfulness, agitation and fear for ones life! She shouldn't be in practice!

Dr. Moore and her staff are very conscious of the needs of her patients. The 1st prescription I picked up was in a sealed envelope. For the 1st time in my life of seeing doctors did I feel so respected as a patient!

I had an abnormal test result that placed me at high-risk for acquiring a serious disease. I was never once alerted about this test result. I found out 2 years later, after having removed my medical records from Dr. Moore's care & office. This is the lowest level of disregard for patient health and safety that a doctor could possibly achieve. I encourage people to not seek out Dr. Moore as their physician. I will never recommend her to anyone. Staff is also very rude.

Dr. Moore has been my doctor for a long time (more years that I care to admit) and I LOVE HER. I have NEVER had a problem getting an appointment. Comments are correct in stating sometimes you'll see a PA, but if you can plan at all you can see her. The PA's in her office are very qualified and I have no hesitation of them treating me as well. I have a few health issues and she and her team keep me on track. I'll never change doctors if I don't have to.

Dr. Moore has been my GP for at least 10+ years, I was happy with her, however since she joined the UConn office, I NEVER get to see her! They always have me see a PA or NP. I am VERY dissatisfied with this, and I'm looking to find another doctor. Sure the UConn office looks to be everything a doctor's office should be, but looks are where this ends. Getting one's own lab reports is like jumping through hoops, along with paperwork to get YOUR OWN RESULTS. The staff doesn't know you from dirt.

The staff is very rude and do not want to help. I made an appointment for 4:30 one day and got there and they told me it was not for that day (Friday) it was for Monday instead, but they never told me it was a different date on the phone. I then had an issue because I needed a prescription and would have to go over the weekend without it and asked if they could at least give me the prescription. They said you have to see the doctor first so I got nowhere with them.
