His nurse was the problem
I feel like his nurse, was the problem. He was nice, polite but when I called begging for help, while ill and leaving an abusive relationship, his office failed me. I know it’s annoying, to deal with an anxious and ill patient, but total disregard is unacceptable and unprofessional. I had put my faith in his office. Only reason I didn’t report him to the “state board” like I have two other physicians, is bc he WAS nice…. His nurse, just, could care less!

Responsive and thorough
I have been seeing Dr. Manickam for several years. He has always explained everything very well. He spends plenty of time with me in reviewing any medical tests and discussing options for treatment. He is responsive when I send a message through mychart. He reviews my prescriptions and dosage and modifies them when necessary (For example, recent weight loss required a lower dosage. I definitely recommend him.

Condescending
Dr. Manickam spends much of the time talking about his son, rather than helping with my health. He is condescending and refuses to address me with my professional title. I would not recommend him to women.

Dr. Manickam spent time getting to know me and discussing the issues that I was having. He explained what he thought was causing my pain and also what he ruled out (and why). His recommended starting off with a conservative treatment plan rather than just prescribing me pain killers and physical therapy. My treatment plan worked well for me. He took time to actually talk with me in the exam room. He was friendly and listened to questions. I would definitely recommend Dr. Manickam.

Dr. Manickam recently became my elderly Mom's doctor. He has very good bedside manners, he takes the time to explain questions/concerns you may have. I am very pleased that he is my Mom's internal medicine doctor.
