Very friendly doctor, however his staff is beyond horrible. I have never had good service there, have been kept waiting, erroneously billed, spoken down to by receptionists, billers, etc. Dr. Mehta needs to fire the lot of em and start fresh.

Dr. Mehta is a caring , conscientious and highly experienced physician with excellent listening skills. He is a member of the Faculty Practice at N.Y. Methodist Hospital. Unfortunately, the efficiency of the practices's support staff has deteriorated in recent years, most notably with regard to requests for prescription refills --be it directly or from my pharmacy-- even when there are sufficient refills remaining for a particular medication. For whatever reason, employee moral has declined.

After several years in Dr.Mehta's care, I have come to know him as a kind, caring, and elegant gentleman, with accurate diagnosis, and good advice. I have seen him come to use technology quickly, and efficiently, keeping accurate records and information on my health issues. Whenever I needed an urgent appointment, he always accommodated me. No matter how stressful or busy the office is, Dr.Mehta, his nurse practitioner, and staff try to make the patient feel comfortable.
