If I could, I would leave zero stars. My husband was told his medicine would be called in within 24 hours, but it has been more than 24 hours and it's still not there. This is completely unacceptable and has caused us a lot of frustration and inconvenience. If you're in need of timely and reliable service, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Truly, I'd recommend Dr. King & Associates to anyone seeking answers to improve/maintain their mental health & her team does so in a very personalized way. I've been a regular patient here for a little over a decade. They accept new patients. To book an appointment just leave a message. The staff will promptly return your call. I've never had any issues with this practice.

I have been to Dr. King for more than 10 years. She is so kind and caring. I love her! She is the best!

It is nearly impossible to get someone on the phone. My therapist is always late coming online for my appointment and didn't show for 1 of my appointments. Not a professional place of business.

I Have Been going To Ms. Patricia King for 10 years now. She is ABSOLUTLY Caring, Sensitive, & very Professional Doctor I have ever gone to. Ms. King has a way with her clients, She cares for her patients and it shows all over her face . Ms. King always greets me with her charming , warm smile every time I go into the office. She always shows concern for me and my children whom she remembers by name wen asking about them during my visits. From the very first time I have felt very comfortable sharing my private matters. TRUST is a MUST wen it comes to therapy, & I have not adoubts king she is an all around wonderful Doctor. As for the office employees Wes; I'd have to say in the many things you are I have been going to see Ms. king that there has been some employees with not very good people skills on or off the phone. BUT; since Ms. Monica started working some years back everything runs like a Dream!

This office is massively disorganized. If you are lucky enough to have someone answer the phone, it's a bona-fide miracle. One several occasions they have rescheduled appointments without notifying me which in turn left me high and dry on my SSRIs. That's irresponsible and dangerous. They will lie to you when you call to follow up that they sent in your prescriptions, and tell you it's all on your pharmacy. That was easy enough to test. TWICE now, I have called them whilst standing in my pharmacy, when Dr King's staff will (FINALLY) returns my call to say they SPOKE to the pharmacy. Yet I fully witnessed that they didn't. I've had to resort to making sure I can have prescription back ups through my PCP because this office is beyond unreliable. Not to mention the front office loudly discusses other patients within full earshot of those of us in the waiting room. I heard full names, around where they lived, why they're a patient, what meds they take. Avoid this office.

I have been under Dr King's care for many years. She has guided me to a quality of life that I wouldn't have thought possible when I was first diagnosed with Fibromyalgia decades ago. Since I cannot take pain meds and muscle relaxers, Dr King developed a treatment plan that is giving me my best life.

I've been a patient of Dr. King for many years. I've benefited tremendously since I started seeing her. There is something special about Dr. King...she stand out from the rest.

Dr. King and her assistant Monica are absolutely the most professional and caring people you would ever want to treat you. I have been a patient for well over 15 years and would never leave their care. Thank you for the many years of excellent care, concern, service and professionalism.

In the middle of the pandemic and only two weeks notice they no longer take any insurance. It will take me three to six months to find a new doctor and will have to go off meds so no withdrawal

Dr. King has worked with me for over ten years now, and her office visits are nothing short of excellent. Dr. King really takes the time to know her patients and really assess the best way to handle any circumstance. Monica up front is very efficient and together I think it makes the drive from NC to VA worth it every time. I cannot thank Dr. King enough for all her kind words and thorough evaluations. Great doctor and great staff.

I have been coming to Dr King and associates for 10 yrs. I have seen NP Shandra Tyus for years . I am pleased with the care I receive . She is friendly and a good listener while also being professional. Today I had a medication changed and I am sure she will be sure the dose is correct before prescribing more. I come every 3 months and am happy with this arrangement. I would and have recommended this practice to a couple of my friends.

Dr. King is friendly, warm, caring, and empathetic. I've been her patient on and off for over 20 years and highly recommend her. I've lived other places, so I have seen other psychiatrists, but she ranks right up there with the best of them. She mainly manages my medication, but she also takes the time to get a sense of how I'm doing overall. She genuinely cares if I'm experiencing troublesome side effects or if a medication isn't working and comes up with a solution to the problem. She's a great listener and incredibly patient. I never feel rushed during our appointments. And she is on time! I pay out of pocket for her services, and she is very reasonable compared to what some other psych doctor's charge. Her office is well run and has been for the last couple of years. Plus her assistant is incredibly efficient and helpful. Phone calls are returned promptly, refills are send in quickly, and it's easy to get them on the phone. Highly recommend!!

I never got to see her every time some one new was there. Also they no longer take Med insurance no checks no charge cards only cash money. no help at all I wonder if she is even there any more something sounds wrong . I will not go back. The last person I saw had to good read a book on what to do. ??????????

Dr. King herself, is a wonderful woman. However, after seeing her for over 5 years, I had to find another doctor. Her office staff has always been incompetent and rude. Every time I went in, it was all new staff. Eventually I just got have given up.

Dr. King is a fine Dr. I have a hard time relating to her personally. She had been my Dr. For very many years but because of the office staff being some of the worst managed, rude people I will no longer be going there. Sometimes I feel like I'm going over her time limit and she doesn't take the time to really get to know me.

I've been seeing Dr. King for well over 5 years and have never had a bad experience. The staff (Myisha and Kiara) are very helpful and polite. I have left messages and always gets a returned call with answers. They make sure I get all my meds on time, and my appointments always go very smoothly. Dr. King and her staff ROCKS !!!

I have been going to Dr. King for years and I will never change. Though the appointments are supposed to be 15 minutes, they never feel rushed. She actually sits there with you and goes over your overall health each time and makes sure your medication is working. I don't even think she has to look at my chart to see what we talked about from our last visit, I think she has a genuine care for each of her patients.
