Dr. Patricia Scott, MD

I have been a patient at TNMFM since 2015, through two pregnancies. I can not say enough positive about the physicians in this group - I have had ample time with all 4. They all have subspecialties and are able to interchangeably provide care for their patients as a unit. I had hyperemesis where Dr. Scott, Dr. Collins and Dr. Graves proved to be exemplary in handling me once I was in crisis. I also had gestation diabetes. Dr. Kang comes in clutch for gestational diabetes providing the best feedback with diet and insulin to keep me as even as possible. She is fast and knowledgeable! Dr. Graves handled my extreme anemia that presented during a hospital stay. She got me out of the hospital as fast as possible (thankfully) with options to get iron infusions in the Nashville office (shout out to Gabi in infusions - ADORE you!). Dr. Kang saw me heading toward pre-eclampsia at 27 weeks. I was admitted and the call came down from Dr. Kang based on my labs and other symptoms to deliver

I had Dr. Scott twice. Each time, she came in with no paperwork in hand and just general comments like "You're doing fine!" or "We're just watching this, but it's not a big deal!" She seemed irritated when asked her for more detailed answers like what are the current measurements, what is the normal range for this, what percentile does this fall in, when would you expect this to resolve, etc. Her default preference seems to be to spend 5 minutes with you and speak to you as if you're an idiot.
