Dr. Goodman is the best psychiatrist I've ever had. Have been a patient for over 11 years. Gets to know you, doesn't pry or assume anything, relatable, listens and confirms what he heard, asks about my life overall during every visit to understand where or why things may or may not be working as far as medication treatment. Explains things clearly and if I don't understand he'll make sure I do. Gentle tone, funny, engaging, kind and playful with my toddler, treats every patient as a unique individual and doesn't expect all conditions respond relatively the same to every person with the same basic medications. Able to get in quickly for follow up appointments and also has the best nurse working alongside him too. Highly recommended

Sounds skilled, but must research meds. Next visit, no follow thru. Eventually, played w/meds. None worked. Last straw was new tranq advised, that didn't work, though I used full dosage. First time 2 wk, second 4 wk. Yet, next visit 7 wk of agony. Asked if he wanted me to kill myself, yet CANCELLED old med that works, so w/NOTHING for a wk! (M-M) Then lied to Director abt. calling Friday. (TOO LATE) Laughingly advised "2 wk" old med., implying I'm just an addict! Slandered me to everyone.
