Dr. Patrick Hayden, MD

I have, unfortunately, many doctors for different health issues and, of them all, have the most confidence in Dr. Hayden. He is extremely thorough, smart, gives straightforward answers to questions and never rushes a patient visit. He took care of my late husband for many years, and, when I too needed a nephrologist, never considered going elsewhere.My only criticism is of the office organization - staff can't seem to get messages or questions to Dr. Hayden in a timely manner. Granted, it is huge practice with many physicians, but the office management leaves something to be desired. This does not, of course, reflect directly on Dr. Hayden, but makes communication difficult at times.

Dr Hayden has an excellent bedside manner. He explains things very well & is very patient.

My mother was a patient of Dr. Hayden. She recently passed, and during her stay in the hospital, he was the only doctor who seemed to genuinely care if she lived or died. She had received dialysis under his care for the past five years, and he was always wonderful to her. She became I’ll at one point in the hospital, and he was the only doctor who seemed interested in finding out why, which he did. She was severely dehydrated, and she improved almost immediately after he gave her IV fluids, the other doctors blamed stress. I would strongly recommend him to anyone.
