Listened to my symptoms and concerns. Explained they've done everything they can from the outside - Have to go in a give a look. 2 Stents - 1 artery 95percent blockage the other 75percent. Thanks for the extra years Doc!

My mom needed 5 stents, of which all arteries were too impacted to treat, as was an open heart bypass - she is too weak for that procedure. Dr Hu spent hours placing a stent in the widowmaker (sic) valve. Literally, she was dead without that (he did the best he could). Her heart was being pumped bedside with the Balloon Pump (sic). We fired her previous cardo Dr's and went with Dr. Hu for everything, moving forward. She is now 5 months post-op, and as hard as it is, she is here with us and living a quality life. No words can express how thankful I am for Dr Hu.

Dr Hu was pleasant to communicate with. Had a good two-way open discussion with him. We both agreed that the TAVR is the way to go to replace my degraded Aortic valve, which has caused my Severe Aortic Stenosis, and the degraded health conditions as a result. The biggest concern I have is the Extended wait time I have to go through before he can find an open date at a TAVR certified Hospital! I am being told it may be 2-4 months!!

Been trying to see this doctor since January. He rescheduled me twice. His office puts my third appointment an hour before another. What a surprise he is more than an hour behind schedule. Talking to patients in the lobby I learn his appointments are double booked at the same time as me - so they can make more money. Never got to see the doctor. Same story. Excellent cardiologist! I was sent to him after having a stroke. He spent a lot of time with me figuring out what caused the stroke. Good bedside manner, too. I’ve had two angiograms, one resulting in 4 stents. Plus, he helped me prepare fo two carotid artery surgeries by teaming and working closely with the surgeon. He is always positive and really listens to questions and answers them. The best!

Dr Hu saved my life when one Dr told my family after an attempted open heart surgery there was nothing he could do, that day Dr Hu came into my room and said there was this machine (Impella ) I think that would assist placement of 4 stents but we would need to wait for several days to get it and I would need to stay in the hospital after 6 or 7 days the procedure was done and I am still here that was about 3 years ago Thanks to Dr Hu.

I take my 96 year old mother to see Dr. Hu every few months. What I appreciate most about him is the kindness and respect he shows my mother. He encourages her and laughs with her which always brightens her day.
