I just had Lumbar Spinal Fusion on 27 January of 2022. Procedure was done at L3-L4. So far it has been very successful. I was released 2 days after surgery with just the normal pain from the incision. I didn’t need Cane or Walker after surgery. Pain pills about 10 days. I had follow up at 6 weeks and all is well. I’m walking 2-3 miles per day with little pain. I would strongly recommend Dr Ireland to anyone in need of Spinal Fusion. 5 stars!

I went to this office on March 12, 2022. I was not even seen by the doctor, but by his assistant, Bradley Halton PA. After dedicating only 10 minutes of his time, he said the only thing he could do for my back pain, which is caused by a hemangioma, is give me an injection to help with the pain. After seeing if this treatment helped he said that he could refer me to the surgeon if it did not help. If it were possible I would give him zero stars. Total lack of care.

All he did was order tests for months Last straw was when he lied and asked me to go to their pain management for a diagnostic injection. I was clear I didn’t want to go for pain management injections as I had already had those for years and it was my pain management Doctor who referred me to him. Be assured me this was different. During a scheduling issue I saw the paper and the procedure name was the same as all my others upon ? The nurse told me it was a normal pain management injection. I left took all the tests to a Doctor in Baltimore who performed the back surgery I needed. I have been pain free since Dec 2018. Dr Ireland was a waste of 6 plus months and money.

I have the utmost respect for Dr. Ireland! he turned my life around....from days filled with excruciating pain, to living a pain-free life! I cannot thank him enough for his skill and compassion!

Dr. Ireland was simply amazing when I had my neck: C-3, 4, 5 fused in 2008. I am a nurse-knowing enough to be the worst patient, and not enough to help myself. ;) I will give 5 stars for this most understanding and skilled surgeon!! Dr Ireland is an excellent Dr. He has done surgery on my mom several times and she brags about him all the time. She tells everyone that has problems with their back or neck to go see Dr Ireland. I will not let anyone else mess with my back or neck she says. So he's the best

Dr. Ireland is fantastic! He informs you every step of the way of what needs to be done and what to expect. I suffered from excruciating back pain for years. Dr. Ireland fixed the problem and I am now pain free. I feel that he goes above and beyond and should be the example for all doctors to follow in how to care for patients.
