Put my leg back together 18 years ago
Dr. Respet was the trauma surgeon who saved my leg from amputation after a terrible skiing accident. My leg was in 50 pieces. It was a very long recovery. But I saw 3 of the top 4 knee replacement surgeons in the country one year later and they all said he did an amazing job putting it back together. Unlike others, I did find him to be very personable.

HORRIBLE! I was seen by Dr. Respet for a work related injury and he waited out the 90 day period and told me I am not healing and there is nothing-else he can do for me, therefore, I need to see a surgeon. He did nothing for me!

19 years later and I still can't feel my fingertips or perform basic tasks w/ my left hand. I still have a bone chip in my ankle because when I told him it was still bothering me after 3 months, his only response was, "You've got to go back to work at some point." My forearm (2 plates, 6 screws) can't stand up to holding a baby for more than 10 minutes without feeling like it's going to break. Lied about prognosis. Diagnosed as if he was working for the insurance company. Bad, bad, bad.
