Pat Thrasher is the best in his field. He is highly regarded by other physicians. His knowledge base is superior to anyone else I have worked with. He had my DNA done to see what medications would be most effective for me. If he retires I'm certain I will never find another like him.

Pat is a brilliant Dr who is deeply passionate and goes overboard to help. She literally saved my life and helped me work through and resolve a difficult situation. At one time she stayed on call with me until 2am to follow up. She was not compensated for this state of affair. This goes to show you what an extraordinary wonderful person she is. We have since moved away and Pat will be greatly missed. If you have BCBS Marketplace your visits are covered 100%. I would confirm first.

When I first started seeing Dr. Thrasher in 2013, I was a mess. I was over-medicated by the Psychiatrists at the Veteran's Affairs (VA) Hosp in Hampton VA. Dr. Thrasher took the time to explain my condition(s) and how medication could help as long as it was closely monitored. I thank Dr. Thrasher because to him I am a person, at the VA I was just a number. He is an excellent Psychiatrist with exemplary credentials. I highly recommend him to anyone who feels "the mental health system" is broken.
