I've seen Dr williams as a first time mom 11 years ago for the very first time, and most recently in June of 2024 when I had my 5th child. I had seen him for 2 other instances inbetween those years. Every encounter was negative including him threatening me and refusing to see my newborn once in 2016 because I didn't want to vaccinate him right away. And on June 31 2024 I was tricked into admitting my healthy newborn into the hospital to monitor her perfectly fine breathing where they gave her antibiotics and had to stay for 5 days and they said that was minimum to finish the antibiotics when she had normal tests. He called cps on me for having the baby in my bed (she wasn't on oxygen or anything bed was flat and I was awake but definitely sleepy I'll admit), as well as created a space that felt unsafe to interact with him about my child's care results and care plans. Asked for a charge nurse and was blown off because he was the only Dr available for the next 3 days. I refuse his care.

Would Not Recommend
Saw this doctor in the ER with my days old baby because we had concerns about the sound baby made while breathing. This doctor refused to even look at or listen to our baby and wanted to admit him to NICU for a minimum of 5-7 days with multiple rounds of antibiotics and administer a chest xray. We were first time parents and just wanted to know if his breathing was okay because he was noisy. All tests were showing he was a healthy baby so we took our baby home AMA but not before we were berated by this doctor multiple times, were told we were “bamboozled” by our midwife, and were told we were putting our child at risk for death. This doctor along with the other ER doctor scared us as first time parents so much that we almost put a healthy baby in NICU for no reason. Our son is now nearly 3 months and has been healthy since birth- still is a noisy breather though. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone who values true or individualized health care.

I have been taking my daughters to Dr. Williams since my oldest was born in 2012. Always welcoming with a smile and a hug. He listens to my concerns about my girls health and carefully explains and educates on the diagnosis of whatever it may be. I was so impressed with how he interacts with my girls. He'd explain what his stethoscope was & what it did so they wouldn't be scared. Whenever I have family or friends ask for recommendations on pediatric doctors, Dr. Patrick Williams is it!
