Wish I could give a zero
I have been diagnosed and looked at by a surgeon, three primary care doctors with anemia. It took 6 months for them to finally say you’ve been anemic this long. After begging my primary for answers she sent me for an abdomen x ray because I couldn’t use the bathroom and struggled with that issue for 8 years. I had 4 blockages. Surgeon did and upper gi and colonoscopy to clear me out. I still can’t use the bathroom. I was specifically told I needed an iron transfusion to not caused my constipation to get worse. Taking iron orally causes constipation. He refused the infusion completely dismissed me. I had waited weeks for this appointment to only leave crying and being told to take some iron pills. He talked to my child about fishing more than what I was going through! Honestly probably because I’m in active addiction recovery! 6 years sober!

A blessing to patients and their family.
Dr. Williams is the most compassionate and skilled doctor I have had the luck to provide care for my mother. My mother was in her mid 80's when first diagnosed with CML. We had so much trouble finding a doctor that saw value in treating someone her age. Dr. Williams was a God send. He not only saw value in treating her with truly quality care but also soothed her fears of her circumstances. I cannot praise him, his skills and loving care for his patients enough. He is simply amazing. The way Norton's handled the situation was shameful. He is an exceptional physician and in my opinion not properly appreciated by the Norton system. I wish him nothing but the best of luck and a wonderful life. We feel blessed to have crossed paths with him.

Louisville’s loss-Terre Haute’s Hux cancer
There were many things I loved about Patrick Williams: his knowledge of his specialty, his compassion toward me as a patient, his life-saving humor and warmth as a doctor (only Doctor with consistently hugged me) and his intervention with Dr. Elizabeth Wjoda, infectiousl illdisease specialist, saved my life. I know doctors are not committed to patients forever, but it really made me angry when Nortons. told me they had assigned me to a new x doctor. I asked where Dr. Williams was and they would not tell me instead saying I had no right to know. They reminded me that I was a patient of Norton’s, not Dr. Williams. I researched him and found that he is at Hux Cancer in Terre Haute IN. That information I had to learn on my own. I will miss him, but awill always be grateful for him! In my case I was assigned, Dr. Joseph Maly, who, in fact, has turned out to be a marvelous oncologist as well. I just did not like the Norton’s treated as inanimate property. Godbless Dr Williams- Jim watkins

Very Caring Doctor
I was a patient of Dr. Williams at Norton Cancer Institute. From the very first time that I met with him he was very thoughtful and explained everything that I needed to know just being diagnosed with Stage 2 Colarectal Cancer. He and his staff NPR Brittany Ross were with me every step of the way through my Chemo treatments and this meant alot since it was during the height of COVID19 pandemic and had to do treatments by myself. I wouldn't go any place else for treatment.

Wonderful doctor
I’ve been his patient throughout my cancer journey. I was always happy with his care and concern. I got a letter that he isn’t at Norton and I will be transferred to new doctor. I’m going to keep checking to see where he went. Norton needs to let patients know where their doctor went

Where is Dr. Patrick Williams?
The same thing happened to me. After 8 years of seeing Dr. Patrick Williams at the Norton Cancer Institute a woman from Norton’s called me last week and told me that Patrick Williams is no longer associated with Norton’s and they have assigned me to a new oncologist. I don’t want a new oncologist, I want to find Patrick Williams. I’ve talked to Norton’s twice and they won’t tell me anything other than he’s no longer with Norton’s. Does anyone know where he is?

Awesome doctor!! He treated my mother as if she was his own. He spoke to her, face to face & eye to eye. Dr Williams also spent time with my mother explaining to her how he would approach her Neuroendocrine carcinoma. He’s very personable & easy to talk to.

Terrible. Sends you a huge bill for labs and doesn’t tell you what they’re for. He will visit you for maybe 30 seconds during your visit and clearly does not care about you or your health. WILL NOT RETURN

I loved going to this doctor before my last visit, but now will never return. In short, if you go here, always ask what blood tests are being run and why, how much they cost, and ALWAYS ask to have blood work sent to LabCorp. I didn't, and after going to a routine annual appointment at which I presented completely healthy, I ended up with an almost $1500 bill for blood work. After many attempts at communication, I still have no idea why these tests were run, or what exactly he was looking for.
