Dr. Dambowy is a good listener and very caring, especially on things that can seem scary to me re: my disease. He also offers suggestions on ways to improve my health moving forward. Also, congratulated me on what a good job I was doing with my weight loss and showed me the numbers to back up how this was helping me stay healthier. That made me feel even more motivated to keep working hard at the changes In diet and exercise I have been making.

I felt like he listened to me and proceeded with appropriate interventions but when I had complications, I felt like he brushed me off and refused to investigate the continued issues I had. Told me I needed to see a psychologist. I recently discovered what is causing my symptoms and if he had really listened, I believe it could have been found sooner.
