Dr. Paul Donnan, MD

Dr. Donnan is an asset to the Legacy health system. Not only is he a great guy and doctor, but well spoken and explains his thought process as it relates to my health care very clearly and concisely.

My concern is how rigid the time structure is. Although my doctor is caring and knowledgeable, he seems rushed and hurried.

Okay so here it is, Dr. Donnan is the best doctor I've probably ever had. I'm newish to Oregon and have been seeing him for just over a year. He always listens to me and addresses my concerns. He's very thorough. On my first visit he checked all my labs and prescribed me vitamin B, as my levels were somewhat low. It's the small things that lead to good overall health. More recently I've had nerve pain in my right arm and he prescribed me massages and wrote me a referral to see a massage therapist. Seriously...above and beyond! On the bigger issues, such as some lab work I had come back showing one of my hormones is extremely elevated, he referred me to an endocrinologist. He is personable, thoughtful, and detailed (side note...also a little bit funny ????). My husband sees him too and we often laugh talking about the conversations we've had with him after our appointments lol. He's a great doctor but also just a good guy. I am a 77 year old woman, retired, with some medical backgound. After a stay in the hospital I needed to find a new provider that was closer to my home (I don't drive). I am a Legacy patient and was referred to the Broadway Clinic and found Dr. Donnan. I have seen him twice and like him very much. I like his manner, he listens, doesn't rush, and is extremely through. I highly recommend Dr. Paul Donnan.

We have been patients at Piedmont Hospital for 44 years and were referred to Dr. Donnan by Piedmont Hospital after my wife's physician became a concierge physician. We had an interview with him and I have never heard a doctor talk about other doctors and even refer to one as a barnyard animal, needless to say we didn't choose him as my wife's physician. We each have a concierge physician that is associated with Piedmont Hospital and we couldn't be more pleased with our selection.
