Brought in my ambulance Abrazo West Campus to be evaluated for cardiac. Have had multiple MI's and stent placement. I remember Dr. Frutos coming in quite often to check and exam me. I had just had another EKG and Dr. Frutos called a Code Stemi which is the code for heart attack. Cardiac cath. team brought in around 3am, opened me up and the closed right back up Dr. Frutos told me it is time for open heart surgery. Dr. Frutos saved my life. His expertise addressed the issue professionally. The biggest thing for me was that he saved my life. I was fortunate to see him again and was able to thank him. One of the best ER physicians, great bedside manner, is not rushed and take his time to listen. 5 Stars.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Frutos?
Was seen by Dr Frutos in ER for a possible blockage of ileostomy Saturday and sent home after 6 hour, saying no blockage or infection. Monday and condition the same. Called to set up appointment with my colon/rectal Dr Monday to be seen Tuesday but wondering how to live with this until Tuesday. Very painful and no bowel output since Saturday. Will not use this Dr again! He was the only option Saturday evening. If I don't die before than.
