He doesn't even look you in the eye
My father went to him for neuropathy. The dr sat with his back turned typing on the computer. When i or my dad would try to ask a question, he got anoyed and did not answer. He would not talk directly to my father because he was hard of hearing. What??? Very rude dr.

Genius about Seizures
I had tried hundreds of medications for seizures and migraines my entire life… nothing ever helped and always gave me the worst side effects of anger and depression, plus many more!! But Dr Gilreath put me on the best medicine that helped prevent the seizures I was having and it was the first medicine that he had me to try just from reading my 72 hour EEG and listening to me and my husband tell him how I was during seizure attacks. He’s really a brilliant man and knows all about seizures for sure!

I came due to my neuropathy. Dr. Gilreath was extremely thorough, informative, and spoke in a manner that I could understand. I was very pleased with our outcome on treatment options. I highly recommend to this doctor.

This man has done nothing to help except escalate all my health bills. Rude. Doesn't read your exams, listen to you or have any sort of manners. He sends you everywhere but his office for expensive tests, which insurance is less likely to cover unless specific conditions are met. Then if he can't figure out the problem, he just tells you it's all in your head. Wow you don't say? Nervous system hello? The issue is quite literally with the brain, spine and nerves. Yes, thank you for trying to tell me it's just an emotional issue. Im sure the trigeminal neuralgia and seizures would agree. I wouldn't recommend this man to anyone if he was the last neurologist on earth. The only reason I put up with him is medication refills. At this point, I've already begun searching for another neurologist. Stay away from this man.

I go to my aunt's visits with her and this guy is nothing more than a joke. He is always rude and does not listen. He cuts you off and acts like ppl are making up illnesses. He completely walked out of the room today while my aunt was still talking to him! I never feel comfortable even sitting in the room with him, he has serious anger issues. On another occasion my step mom had an appt and he got mad, threw the Mic down and literally pushed her and my aunt out of the door. The receptionist girls are NO better, one of the girls screamed out at us as we were leaving today. I don't recommend this place for anybody. Gilreath shouldn't be allowed to call himself a Dr. And definitely shouldn't work with the public.

Will be finding a new neurologist, never listens, cuts me off, and then when I did get a chance to say something did not even acknowledge I said anything. He did perform a nerve test and said everything was normal but my orthopedic surgeon put order in for carpel tunnel and a tendon release on my thumb and gilreath got very rude and hateful with me saying there isn't any carpel tunnel present... Ok in his opinion he may feel there's not any carpel tunnel present but if he felt so strongly about it he should have called my orthopedic he had no right to get hateful with me over something another specialist decided. Makes me feel like I should have a second opinion on my neck now, he said I have 3 herniated discs but not to point of surgery yet nearly half the time I suffer with extreme pain and headaches guess I have to be completely bedridden before he'll consider it to be a problem

He doesn't listen, has a temper and is rude to his patients. I have extreme regret for going and seeing him! He had me go have a mri done then didn't have enough curtousy to tell me my results before rushing me out of the office. I asked about it and his reply was I'm surprised you had it done.

Didn't listen to our concerns or answer questions we had. Because he could not definitively diagnose the problem, he acted like the whole issue was made up and my dad couldn't walk because "it was all in his head".

Came in being rude from beginning of our conversation. Told me I needed to get job and not be applying for disability. First of all he knew nothing about me and my disease that I have to make any kind of statements. I will go anywhere but back to him!

Dr. Gilreath is the only doctor with whom I have ever felt that has actually truly listened to me and wanted to get to the bottom of my problem and not just push medications. He truly is a talented doctor.
