Dr. Paul Hartsfield, MD

Dr. Hartsfield has been my primary for over 10 years now. He is a very kind, patient Dr. and has always had time to talk to me during my visits. He has helped me tremendously with some of my health issues. Some of my family also sees Dr. Hartsfield. The Dr. is very down to earth, and actually listens to you, after all, who knows your body better than you do? If you are shopping around for a new Dr., think about choosing Dr. Hartsfield, you won't be sorry!!! PS: As of this writing, he is accepting new patients!!

You need to answer your telephone. I have tried for weeks and weeks to call and ask the nurse something about our medicine (Rx). When I call, the same recording plays over and over and will not allow us to go beyond that long, drawn-out recording. Patients sometimes have needs, so why don't you answer the phone and help us. Fix your answering machine! I hope you won't delete this review as you did my older review, because people are waiting to hear from you. If you don't help us and answer your phone, then 'maybe' we will not recommend you - 'maybe' never.

My husband and I both like Dr. Hartsfield. He listens and we never feel rushed. And he’s been accurate with diagnoses every time. Also, the staff are excellent and friendly. Highly recommend!

I have had nothing but poor experiences with this office since becoming a patient about 3 years ago. It often takes 2-5 efforts of calling before you are even able to reach someone at the front desk. Do not bother leaving messages because they will not be returned, or if they are, it will be days later. I recently made 5 attempts to talk to someone regarding a referral and ended up making an appointment to talk to the doctor and was stuck with a $45 copay. Even Dr Hartsfield said that coming in was not necessary, but I HAD NO CHOICE. After my appointment, it took about 6 calls to check on my referral (which was supposed to be sent that same day) and they FINALLY faxed it 5 days later, with the WRONG physician on the auth. I need surgery and this office has been a nightmare.

Great listener. Extremely kind. Always begins each appointment with a pleasant entry into the room and asks how you are doing. Oddly enough many doctors don't have the capacity to be decent. He does. Arguably the best doctor I've ever had. But definitely the main catch with him is that he listens. HE ACTUALLY LISTENS. This characteristic seems to be very uncommon in the medical field these days.

Dr. Hartsfield is my husband and my PCP. He is the best. His office staff are also wonderful. Dr. Hartsfield follows up on everything for us. He is kind, he listens and does whatever he can for us when we are ill. We wanted to say and wish a Very Merry Christmas to him and staff.

I been a patient with Dr Heartfield for several years now. I have had many unfortunate medical problems and personal issues, he listens as if he really cares and I don't trust doctors easily. I trust Dr Heartsfield with my life. He has been a God send. Thank you Dr Heartfield. His staff treat me with respect and like they really care. Thanks to all my caring hearts, I do recommend him to everyone especially, those who don't trust other doctors.

He always listens. He does not schedule unnecessary tests. Expect to have more tests in the first exams especially if you are older like I am. Afterall he has to establish a baseline.

I am a patient of Dr. Hartsfield for many years. I can truly say he listen to your complaint and let you know what the possibilities are going on. He seeks second opinion through others medical tests. He doesn’t pressure you but give you the option. I like his cut and dry diagnosis with no hidden agenda. As a male we often stray away from seeing doctors but Dr. Hartsfield makes you comfortable in telling him what’s going on. Staff not helpful; would not answer phone; did not seem really interested in helping patient; poor follow up. Needs to improve/replace staff help.

I’m a new patient who saw Dr. Paul Hartsfield for the first time June 16. I was impressed with him and liked him right away. I’ve had an on-going health issue and Dr. Hartsfield spent some time asking me some questions and then explained what procedures he wants to do first to try and figure out what is going on. He also wanted to start me on some medicines to see if they help in the meantime. I felt very comfortable with him. He is also sending me to a specialist. I have confidence that he will figure out what’s going on and do all that he can to get me on the road to recovery. His staff is friendly, efficient and attentive also.

I do believe Dr. Hartsfield cares, but he always seems to be in a hurry. I have tried to contact his Clinical staff regarding questions and it took them 12 days to return my call. Very sad considering the circumstances, and they have yet to do anything except let me know that they will be getting back with me soon.

Dr Hartsfield is amazing! He is knowledgeable, caring and thorough. When I am in his office, either with him or his staff, I feel like I am their only patient. I feel very cared about, and they are really on top of everything! It is nice to be surrounded by such caring and capable people. I can't say enough w onderdul things about these people!!

Dr.Hartsfield is awesome. He is kind,easy to talk to,and takes the time to address all of our concerns. My whole family has switched to his office.

He's awesome. The staff is friendly and they get you in and out. I haven't had any complaints thus far. I enjoy calling or going to his office when necessary.

My mother, brother & I go to Dr Hartsfield & we think he's the best!! Never had a problem getting a call back from his staff which is a plus! Dr Hartsfield & staff have been so helpful to me with a very stressful medical problem & I can't thank them enough!

Dr. Hartsfield and his staff have treated my time as valuable as theirs. This is something that seems to be non existent these days when it comes to Doctors. Dr. Hartsfield's staff has always followed up when they said the would and are always extremely nice, understanding and genuinely want to help. Thank you Dr. Hartsfield and staff for your help!! If I could give 6 stars, I would!!

When I started going to Dr Hartsfield.... I was nervous because I haven't been to a doctor in a while. I'm particular about how Doctors make me feel. I must say that he was caring. He always ahve a smile on his face. I didn't feel rushed. The staff is very organized and if I have any questions they will call be back with what my doc said by the end of the day, but more than likely within a couple hours. If something is wrong he will quickly do a test and have a 2nd & 3rd plan ready.

Fantastic Doctor. He really cares about his patients and goes the extra mile to take care of them. Wonderfully patient with questions, which is rare. Super nice, easy to talk to, and extremely knowledgeable. He will admit when he doesn't know something and will refer you to an expert in that area.
